I hope this qualifies with the rules.. im not sure if i got the gradient seamless enough.. or if the browns on the edges of the leaves look like shading.. I was going for a fall-opalescent look ;^^
neverthless, it was fun to do, and being new here these kinds of 'activities' are pretty awesome :)

I'm embarrassed by my submission compared to all the wonderful and original options out there, and the fact there are more than 74 pages of them, but I guess I'm guaranteed to not have a chance if I don't submit! That would be a lot of effort wasted ; w;

Here's my submission because why not. I based this look off of my own calico cat, Autumn; I originally planned to do just fall colors, but decided to show off the vast variety of natural leaf colors in the world and create a rainbow effect. I call it "Arboreal Prism." :)
This was my first time using Photoshop, so I hope I pulled it off at least somewhat. As I'm not familiar with gradient effects I just blended the colors and I hope that's okay?...

My Leaf Cat, Arcane themed. ^ ^ The Arcane Region seems to have lots of pink flora and fauna, so I though, why not? There have been others, but I don't recall seeing one so pink. ^ ^
Only flat colours and gradient. Painted with about four colours first and then went wild with the smudge tool.
