I'll break the rounded bit off the spoon, then throw it down the hallway. If there's no sound, I'll be creeped out and not go, and instead use the other end of the spoon as a weapon to defend myself. If the only thing I hear is the sound of the spoon bouncing, I'll go down the hallway until I find the spoon bit and continue down using the spoon to test the danger.

Venture, I think it would be better to see what you're working with. Also you don't know how long it will be until help arrives so it's better to secure food and water early on. Have you ever broken a bone in your body? Oh I've broken many over the years. The first time I broke a bone, it happened in the Summer before first grade. I was racing my brother on Razor scooter's down the block from my house which wasn't bad, but he decided to lean into mine and I fell off. This wasn't good because it was in front of a yard where the lawn was lower than the sidewalk, when I fell it was directly on my left forearm. Okay so, when you're going to clean up and organize, for me at least it helps to focus on what I want to organize and in a specific space. It's something that you get kids and old folks. Like a phone covers most of its features already, and a laptop covers the rest and is faster to boot. If someone or something was trying that hard to get into where I was, I would honestly believe that they knew I was there. So, I would snap the plastic spoon so I would have something to use as somewhat of a weapon (although pretty useless, its better than nothing). I would call out and if they were intending to harm or eat me, I'd gamble and run down the hallway since its a 50-50 chance opposed to someone who wanted to cause harm.

three! english is my native tongue. i learned french for 6 years in school and reached an advanced level with it, though it's gone by the wayside in favor of spanish. i started learning spanish in 2020 for my boyfriend (he's from puerto rico, i started learning to surprise him & also be prepared when i went there with him to spend time w his family) and have reached an intermediate level.
