She's a perdy derg but I find Islwyn so irritating! So does everyone else, apparently -- I'm pretty sure Farrow recommended her for the boatswain position just so Islwyn could fail and she would finally leave Farrow alone. I'm going to automatically condemn her to the following fate:

Maybe Sadeas will change his mind about her eventually -- he's secretly a big softie.

I had an added rule for miscellaneous ability and energy stones that required me to roll to either death-streak or level all crewmembers, which really backfired on me. I ended up devoting an absurd amount of time to leveling the dragons when the point of the Fodderlocke is to punt them to the gods! I had to give up the rule; I just about burnt out on the Fodderlocke on phase 1. I may return to it again someday but have the roll be either death-streak or nothing happening. For now, though, it's gone!

(An odd number for an odd dragon.) After we sorted out the coin, we shared some drinks at the tavern Farrow patronizes. I noticed a Tundra with a luminescent glow about her, covered in those strange runes mystics know about, trying to catch my eye. She confessed to us this morning when we came across her still abed that she's a teetotaller. Sadeas sucked his teeth noisily -- he views it as ill luck to have a teetotaller aboard a smuggling ship. I can't blame him -- not being able to spend time together could really hurt morale, and such a delicate constitution won't last her long at sea. Islwyn might struggle socially, but if anything that only seems to bolster her affinity for other things, like our new ship. Unfortunately the goods weren't entirely undefended: they had three soldiers aboard, far more experienced in combat than any of us. They managed to corner Farrow, Fyodr, and Surana, and the sea-witch, while an impressively scrappy fighter, was no match for their swords and skill; she fell, and was laid to rest at sea. Active Effects
#18 - Farrow, Sadeas, Fyodr, and Inya are ill with food poisoning and cannot be selected for activities for the next five turns, unless they are the only dragons available. If they must be used due to a lack of dragons, they will be booted.

Health Potion - Jasnah has been feeling sick since drinking a tonic she purchased from an apothecary. If she is selected for the Coli in the next three turns, she'll be booted.

Skin - There is a traitor aboard! Every turn, they have a 1/3 chance of being discovered and booted. Every activity for which they are selected, they have a 1/3 chance of killing a dragon with whom they are teamed.
