Since so many people have already done the US I'll just do my state
Cows. So many fricking cows, you would not believe. Also people get drunk a lot so it's easier to stand the cold, and for a possibly related reason, one of the main pastimes is just starting fires and standing/sitting around them

But for my state specifically, land of scrubs and cacti. Thinks its too good for daylight savings (don't mind the navajo nation in the corner there shhhh) but really there's not a lot here of interest except a large hole in the ground.
