The hype around the color wheel expansion is probably the thing I miss most next to the old trading post. Welcome weeks were a lot of fun while they lasted, and Words on the Wind was pretty cool
having no dressing room is something I absolutely do not miss. My god trying to make an outfit for my dragons was a nightmare, especially since we didn't have the internal game database to know just what apparel existed. Made for some... interesting... apparel choices

Not that old imo, I've only recently had my 3rd anniversary, but I do miss when the trading post was a little interactable map like how the new world map is now. I hope that eventually, when (if) they stop releasing trading post dragons, they'll remake the trading post to be an interactable map with the new trading post dragons like it used to be and have it be like a mini interactable world map for the trading post :)

I don't miss the days before the Hib Den though. The HD has kept me invested in the game and unlocked a previously unknown interest in gen1s for me. Before the HD, I was the type of player that never kept a dragon unless it was a breeder. Now, I can't even dream of parting with a lot of my gen1s and am really proud of my collection that I don't have to constantly feed thanks to the feature :D

-Putting deposits on a nest of eggs before they even hatched because no one yet had any dragons (at all!)
-Saving for ages for genes because there were only like 2 fairgrounds games
-people being really reluctant to exalt dragons because lairs weren't saturated yet
-that first time you had to grind up to level 20 in old coli with no higher level dragons to get you there
-I guess I do miss there not being captcha in coli. Would definitely make grinding easier to do while I watch TV or something.
-gen 1 dragons were originally absolutely nothing special and it took a while before people cared because they were ungened and practically everything was gen1 anyway. I want to say this only eventually turned around at maybe the 1 year mark.

Welcome weeks were always really fun, and I miss how old Dom used to go. Those battles were always wild, especially the Dom battle for science that Lightning and Light did.
I certainly don't miss the old AH, but I do wish I hadn't deleted the message I got from Naomi that one time.

7 year old player here. Registration windows were so fun. I'm glad we have open registration because waiting is no fun, but they were a lot of fun and really showed how caring the community is!
Also miss how low the prices for old festival apperal used to be :,) I bought my lightning sprite for like 70kt back in November 2013.
Lastly, I miss the big dom battles as well, and overall the old vibes anout dom in general back in like 2013-14. Dom just hasn't felt the same to me so I hardly ever participate in it nowadays.
