I decided to come back onto this site after a year of not logging on, and I'm really excited for a fresh start! I exalted all my old dragons and have a bunch of treasure saved up to buy new ones. The only problem is, I have no idea what kind of dragons I should buy!

Gosh I miss the theater so hecking much man
Like holy crap I want to see a live musical so bad
Like I swear I watching the bows of Don Giovanni and just man
Also me going on another rant about this gosh dang opera?

I was expecting flames and hellish projects
Instead I got just darkness and a proud man now terrified
Gosh I couldn’t imagine how that felt live
The fear and tension in the air must have been incredible
I definitely have some getting used to with opera
I’m just not used to such long performances and solos
Like for the majority I absolutely loved it
But I definitely should have listened to those long arias once or twice over so I was familiar with them cause when the characters repeat previous words they don’t always put captions up and it got a bit repetitive without knowing it
Also it said at the end this was an opera buffa?
Like a guy gets dragged to Hell and assaults multiple women and this is a comedy?
I mean I definitely was laughing at some parts but there was a lot of sad bits man
Also I was so surprised about how- how do I put this? Saucy? It was
Like seriously people were watching this in the 1800s?
The maid bit could definitely change from production to production but it’s kinda crazy that this was from the 1800s
Yeah Don Giovanni has over 2000 ‘conquests’ so there should be some kissing and what not but how did people not like faint back then?
Like surely you just saw somebody kissing in the 1800s and then you just up and faint by how scandalous that is

But it’s just so beautiful and dramatic and truly something
