Keitaro Hideyuki - Sakura Cafe's owner/founder. He’s a human man in his late 30s, Keitaro has a passionate love for coffee which lead him to open the Sakura Cafe roughly 5 years ago with a purpose that is to bring the wonders of freshly grinded coffee to the younger generations nowadays, who have grown accustomed to drinking coffee in vending machines and packed bags.

Because he wanted for everyone to take a trip down the nostalgic lane, the Sakura Cafe is Victorian styled shop with an elegant and peaceful atmosphere where people can come in to sit down, relax and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee after a long day or a hard week, truly a haven contradicted to the fast-paced and futuristic society they’re living in.

Keitaro has a calm, friendly and kind personality, however he’s a bit of a pushover and found it rather hard to deal with troublemakers so he usually goes along until they get bored and leave. Because of his huge love for coffee, the man is equipped with many knowledge of coffees and can go on and on forever about coffee and such if anyone pushes the right button.

He has a habit of travelling around the world searching for new ways to make coffee and such so he usually leaves the shop in the care of his managers, who eventually got to improve and expand the Cafe, making it more spacious and with a larger menu of drinks (beside all kind of coffees) and desserts for people to enjoy.
Raiden Matsuda - WARP Frenzy’s owner. He is a human man in his early 30s, inherited the club from his father who decided to retire early. Raiden, true to his name, is a force to be reckoned with, he doesn’t only looks intimidating, his personality is also quite unforgiving should anyone dare to cross him, being the one running one of the most, if not the most famous night club in the city, Raiden is definitely acquaintances with a lot of shady and dangerous groups of people.

He is almost never seen without his bodyguards and is very secretive when travelling around even in the city, a person under any normal circumstances would never cross paths with him at all. Raiden is almost rarely even present in his own club, usually leaving his lackeys to deal with things, probably he has more important things to deal with. He is also a notorious playboy, he lives by his money, fame and the women among the circle of rich people he’s associated with, often found themselves in his bed one way or another, which he’d soon get tired and throw the previous one aside to get a new toy in no time, sometimes but rarely an unrelated and unfortunate soul would wander into his trap.

Kaede Williams - Club Element’s owner. A human man in his early 40s, he was promoted by the previous club owner who didn’t have any successor to take over the club. His father was an American while his mother was Japanese, he was born and raised in a rural area in Japan and his father unfortunately passed away due to a traffic accident, leaving his mother and him in the care of his grandparents. Kaede dropped out of school during his Junior High due to his mother’s critical illness that left her bedridden and his grandparents being too old to work to pay for his schooling fee. Kaede had to find all kinds of odd jobs to pay for his mother’s medication until one day he landed a job in the Club Element and has been working in it ever since.

While it was tough and he got roped into all kinds of dangerous situations, he survived and became battle-hardened through the years, at least he got more than enough money to take care of his mother well until her very last moments. Contradicted to the wild Raiden, Kaede is a family man with a wife and two kids and he tries his best not to get involved with dangerous parties, keeping his family safe is more or less his top priority.

Because he’s running the club that’s rivaling the WARP Frenzy, it is no surprise that he also got a few targets on his back from the people hiding in the shadows, however he respects Raiden’s ‘territories’ but the same can’t be said about the younger, hungrier wolf. However he always keeps a calm and cool demeanor when dealing with troubles and he knows his own limits. Unlike Raiden, Kaede often resides in his club during his working hours, looking out for the place so that it’s not crawling with all kinds of shady people, which made Club Element is ‘cleaner’ than the WARP Frenzy.

Natsuki Gia Hoàng - The Stormy Serpent’s owner/founder. She appears to be a woman in her late 20s, but the truth is she’s a dragon who is in fact, thousands of years old. Founded the Stormy Serpent roughly 3 years ago, one of the city’s friendlier, warm and cozy bars, they also serve foods and non-alcoholic drinks here, quite odd considering its name is “Stormy” Serpent, however when asked, Natsuki just answered that because she liked the name.

She has a pleasant personality, humorous, quick-witted and friendly, she’s rather playful and is quick to strike up any kind of conversation with the customers and her workers, she’s caring towards to nearly everyone even if she doesn’t know them, always offer a helping hand to her workers when they’re in a tight spot and usually goes easy on any mistakes they might make, however don’t mistaken her for a pushover, no living soul would ever want to witness an angry Natsuki, the last group of hooligans that went into the bar to cause trouble, nobody heard of them ever again. It’s just because she scared them off.

Because of her charm, many were quick to fall for her, however she gently turned them all down for some reason, Natsuski usually just brushed it off as she’s not interested and not looking to be in any romantic relationship. She always keeps a low profile, her true identity is only ever revealed to a handful of people who are truly close to her and that she trusts them enough, however her background forever remains a mystery, she never shared a single word about it to a single soul. If asked, Natsuki would answer differently each time, so who really knows? It doesn’t matter anyways as Natsuki is still the same as ever, she doesn’t appear to be bothered by such questions at all.

Hitomi Kamaji - Spa Kamaji’s owner. She’s a human woman who is only in her early 20s, Hitomi inherited the family’s residence as well as the onsen when her aunt passed away. Grew up without a father, her mother Hitomi in the care of her sister, which is Hitomi’s aunt and her mother--Hitomi’s grandmother and got herself a job overseas, she’s rarely home ever since. Hitomi grew up in the care and love of her aunt and grandma which helped her turned out to be a lovely and caring person.

The death of her aunt struck her hard but her grandmother has always been around to support her and help her around with the onsen while Hitomi tries to juggle between her studies at the university and learning how to fill in her aunt’s shoes at being the head of the family’s business. Because of how young she is compared to the workers at the Spa Kamaji, oftenly people do not take her seriously, but she tries not to let it bother her and works hard to earn her rightful place, though it’s going to be a long journey, she’s determined to go through it.

Despite coming from a wealthy family, Hitomi is as humble as a person can be, prefers to stick to her own line and staying out of the spotlight and troubles. Since she’s really busy with her schedule, Hitomi sometimes regrets that she has to decline her classmates’ invitations to hang out, slowly turning her into someone who doesn’t have many friends, saved for a very few that she knew since Junior High that still keep in touch with her till now. Sometimes it made her wondering whether if her choices were right, but seeing her old grandmother working very hard to help out with the onsen while she was at university with a kind smile on her face every time she greeted Hitomi when she’s home, Hitomi knew that she must do her best for her dear grandmother.

Zhigong Hou - Oedo Alley’s owner. He's a human male in his early 40s, the Oedo Alley was a family owned, Chinese restaurant. Ever since Zhigong became the boss 15 years ago, he started to open up recruitment, considering the rapid growth of the restaurant he suggested that they’d need more helping hands around. Of course Zhigong does not play favorites with the workers who are his own relatives, he’s fair to everyone. Their goal was to spread the goodness of Chinese cuisines to Japan and to invite in anyone that’s far from home to enjoy a taste that’s “just like mom’s cooking”.

Zhigong is as average as a businessman goes, he takes great pride in his restaurant’s foods and it shows, he is quite strict and demands that his chefs must follow traditional recipes written by his great grandparents, believing that it’d preserve the original taste of the dishes, and it looks like he wasn’t wrong about it, consider the booming business of the Oedo Alley as always. However, he is quite unforgiving should anyone mess up, be it either the waiters, chefs or even the managers, to Zhigong, the customers are the most important, therefore he pressures his staff into pleasing and tolerating them in any situation.

Because of that the Oedo Alley remains on the top list of Chinese restaurants in Hiroto City, because of the good foods and the high quality of customer service, and Zhigong wants it to stay that way. Outside of work, he’s as normal as a person can be, aside from the fact that he remarried for the third time already, but he takes good care of all of his children no matter who the mother is, willing to let any of them inherit the Oedo Alley if they can prove themselves fit for the role.

STARTING POST

Today was the start of a new school year, after a long summer vacation, students all over the country are ready for a fresh new school year, however to anyone that was no longer a young student anymore, today was the famed cursed Monday, another day, another week, that’s just how life is. An ordinary morning of Hiroto City, the “Great Flying City”, the city of cherry blossoms, is as busy as ever, time doesn’t wait for anyone, parents urging their kids to go to school, spouses waking each other up for another day of work, and even the people who lives by themselves were greeted with the buzzing sounds of their own alarm.

Hiroto City, true to its name, has an advanced system of flying public transportations, which are called “Genny’s”. The Genny’s are a type of sphere-shaped like “cable cars” with a special type of jet engine and built in mapped out routes that can take a person anywhere they want to go, even across the city under an hour, humans developed ‘invisible roads’ for these vehicles so they won’t go flying wildly or crashing into buildings and people. The Genny’s are all private booths, only one person per booth with virtual assistance programmed to communicate perfectly with humans and filled with all the information can be found on the internet, it can provide a full tour around the city. It can even hold a decent conversation if you’re desperate enough to ask a virtual voice to give some life advice.

Each Genny’s are equipped with a U-shaped sofa, a large screen that people can see the time, date, weather predicts or broadcast anything that one person want to watch in the meantime, high tech table with a touch screen, here people can set their destination and scan their cards to confirm the ride and pay the fee, also choosing the speed for their Genny’s, whether if they’re in a hurry or just want to enjoy a slow ride around the city, each booths also provide a few types of snack and soft drinks. All Genny’s are “tinted” with a special type of technology, allowing visibility from the inside but not from the outside, people can only see the metallic-like surface of the Genny’s on the outside, but people from the inside can choose to have a transparent view of where they’re going, however people with Acrophobia can just leave it at its default setting, is just a metallic-like gray room.

Anyone can order a Genny’s from their phone at any location in the city or go to the touch screen directories that are placed pretty much at every train stop, they also installed the Genny’s program there. Humans can still use old-fashioned means of transportation like low hover bikes or normal cars if they wish to or if they’re running late and all the Genny’s are full, however with people that came from a wealthy family, they don’t really have anything to worry about, they probably own the newly developed hover cars with their private drivers and all the fancy equipments that are built inside the vehicle that a person who only drinks coffee for breakfast can’t even begin to imagine. Anyway, it’s time to rise and shine! Today is a new, beautiful day, hope you got your toasts ready and your coffee brewed, who knows the day might be a new chapter for you, filled with endless possibilities, and all kinds of surprises.

Shizuru || Forest Dragon (Human form) || At home -> Sakura Cafe || Interacting with: N/A

The first thing she noticed when she slowly came to her senses, was the opening theme song of her new favorite anime blasting from her digital alarm clock, and that the background mumbling of the news reporters sounding from her laptop, Shizuru didn’t even remember switching it to the news program after a long night of hardcore gaming session, however, she remembered that she was trying to reach the next rank in the FPS that she recently gotten into, after hours of grinding she finally got what she wanted and passed out afterwards.

Shizuru stretched, feelings her joints cracked and her muscles loosen up, she has been in this form long enough that she actually felt like a human who slept in the wrong position all the time, letting out a long yawn and slowly sitting up with her arms still outstretched, she felt annoyed having to leave her poor, comfy and inviting bed but she couldn’t skip another day at work, as Hideyuki-san last time was breaking out cold sweats when he tried to explain that he might have to cut some of her monthly salary because of how absent she was in the previous month, but in the end he didn’t because he couldn’t bring himself to, not after Shizuru was speaking in rather broken Japanese, he believed her to be someone who had lived overseas and just returned to Japan recently and was trying her best to fit in.

She kinda felt bad for tricking him like that, but doesn’t think much of it now, it worked out in her favor in the end and Shizuru actually tried to work properly until this day. Shizuru began her daily morning route, leisurely, eventually she came to the point of finally changing into her working attire, which is a simple white button-up shirt with high collar that conveniently covered up the scales on her nape and knee-length black skirt, a black tie with embroidery of cherry blossom trees on it, completed with a pair of comfortable enough black boots.

While Shizuru was waiting for her Genny’s to arrive outside of her apartment, she took a moment to observe her surroundings, surely, everyone is as lively as ever, high tech billboard signs that were installed in the tall buildings flashing their advertisement about the newly released goods, the streets is filled students walking to school, chatting animatedly with each other, workers with hover bikes driving to their work, with the Genny’s flying over the city, heading to their own destination, the day has just started but Shizuru couldn’t wait for it to end already, so she could take the train to Neo-Tokyo later to drop by her favorite store to pick up the newly released merchandises of her favorite series.

Eventually her Genny’s arrived, Shizuru put down her destination and placed her ID-combined-bank card on the table's scan to confirm it

“Welcome Shizuru Murasame-sama, thank you for choosing our service. I am Enma, your virtual assistance, how may I help you today?”

Came the automatic greeting that was set for all of the Genny’s after she successfully paid for the ride's fee, Shizuru asked for some relaxing tune while setting the speed for her ride. It was a quick trip and while it was opening the door to let her out, the voice announcing to her its programmed goodbyes.

“We have arrived at our destination; Sakura Cafe -street name- at 6:55 AM, thank you for using our service, we hope you see you again, if you have any trouble while using our Genny’s, please contact us at…”

It trailed off in her mind while Shizuru couldn’t help but to thought about on how far humankind have come and what they’ve managed to achieve, after being alive for over a thousand year, humans never ceased to amaze her every time, whether if it’s good or bad, they always seems to be capable of creating such curious things every few years now and then.

It was 7 AM when Shizuru clocked in, on a Monday morning, the place seems to be almost empty, saved for a few people that were standing in line for take outs, people preferred to get coffee from the vending machine on their way to work because it’s faster that way, the place won’t be filled with people anytime soon because everyone is at work/school, her work on a weekday would truly start at noon when the students start rolling in after 3pm.

Cold wind from the night greeted the tree branches, causing them to knock on the window. It wasn't loud, but it's enough to pull Tsurui out of his sleep. He groaned and shifted in his bed, pulling the blankets closer to his chest. There was a moment of peace and silence, where the only source of noise came from the ruffling leaves outside.

...And exactly two seconds later, he let out a deep sigh. Knowing that there's no way he can fall back asleep, he begrudgingly pushed himself up. He rubbed his eyes and glanced to his side, noticing his phone sitting on the drawer. Preparing for his eyes to be burned, he reached out to grab and turn his phone on. He winced as the light nearly blinded his eyes, but he managed to catch a glimpse of the time anyway.

5... 34AM?

Tsurui quickly shut off his phone and plopped it back onto the drawer. There's still quite a lot of time before he has to go to work. After some thinking, he decided to just take a shower and finish some books until he needs to head out.

- - -

The alarm of his phone went off, signaling that it's already 6:30AM. Tsurui, already fully dressed, hopped off his couch. He grabbed his phone and placed it into his backpack, which has all of his belongings, and headed out. With a click, he locked his door and stuffed his key into his pocket.

Without wasting his time, he went downstairs to grab his bicycle (that he can never seem to get rid of). It stands out among the many other bikes, so it wasn't hard to locate it. He unlocked the lock of his bicycle before pushing it outside. With a huff, he hopped onto it and began cycling to Sakura Cafe.

The trip to the cafe was surprisingly pleasant. Some people he passed by greeted him—some with enthusiasm, others, not so much. Naturally, he greeted back with a smile and a simple nod regardless of who he met. By the time he'd snapped himself out of his daydream, he's already at his destination. He hopped off his bike and parked his bicycle somewhere close before heading into the cafe.

Surprisingly, Shizuru was already there by the time he clocked in. He assumed that she's the only person there, so he approached her before heading to his work station. "Heyo, good morning! Nice to see that you're early today."

Touko and Izumi Tatsu || [Human Forms] || Touko: Home --> Grocery Store ... Izumi: Home --> Oeda Alley || Interacting with: [N/A]
Touko banged her fist on the bathroom door. "Are you done with your bath yet? You're breakfast is going to get cold."

"It's already burned, I don't think it can get any worse." Izumi snickered as his sister began to go on about how she's trying her best and that he's welcome to make his own meals. "I'm just teasing, Touko."

"Yeah, but you're right. I'm mad at the accuracy," Touko replied, tugging on a strand of her hair.

"You'll get better," Izumi encouraged as he swung a leg over the tub. "What'd you make, anyway?"

"I got rice, scrambled egg, and some sausage. Now hurry up and get out. I'll be in the next room waiting."
***
Touko said she made rice, scrambled egg, and some sausage, but Izumi was having trouble identifying the food laid out before him. The rice still resembled rice, but it still had burned parts (it amazed him how Touko could burn just about anything she tried to cook). He picked up what he was sure to be sausage with his chopsticks and took a bite out of it.

"The sausage is decent," he commented.

"That's the egg," Touko replied.

"Oh, yes, of course." Izumi examined the food more closely. He sniffed it before taking another bite out of it. He was unable to taste the egg still, but shrugged and continued to eat it.

Breakfast shared between the twins was relatively quiet. It was an ordinary day for them, after all. Izumi would be heading off to his job at Oeda Alley. Touko was going to do a grocery run. They made plans to go to the park after Izumi's shift and maybe go out to eat if Touko had enough money left over from buying groceries.

Izumi adjusted the collar of his shirt in the mirror. He smoothed out the bright red vest hugging his body and straightened out his nametag. To be honest, he never liked the vest. He thought it was too bright, but he liked the pattern of golden dragons flying around wispy golden clouds purely for the irony of it being on an actual dragon.

"I hate wearing contacts." Izumi turned to look down at his sister standing beside him in the mirror. She had one of her colored contacts carefully balancing on the tip of her index finger, the other one already turning her bright orange eyes a dull brown. She placed the other contact in her eye, blinking to adjust it and get used to the feeling. "Look at how boring I look now."

"I know, but you know how things are." Touko looked up at her brother after he set a hand on her shoulder. "Let's get going now, okay?"
***
Touko always walked with her brother to work. Even if she had no plans to go anywhere that day, she still went with him.

"There are the Genny's," Touko said, pointing at a line of the spherical contraptions flying by. "You've been on one before, right?"

"Yeah, and that would be the last time I got on one." Izumi adjusted the bag strap around his shoulder before the bag containing his spare clothing could fall onto the ground. "I didn't like the sensation of flying in a little box." Touko just nodded, understanding what her brother meant by his complaint of the Genny's. When you can fly naturally, any other method can be uncomfortable.

Soon, the Chinese-styled building where Izumi worked came into view. The twins stopped in front of the building so that they could say their goodbyes until the end of Izumi's shift.

"You'll be here until you're done, right?" Touko asked.

"Yep," Izumi confirmed. "I'll be out here waiting for you, and if I'm not, I'm probably still changing, so just wait out here, okay?" He set a hand on his sister's head. "Stay safe, okay?"

"Mm!" Touko nodded with a big smile. "The same goes for you!"

"I know, and I will." With that, the twins parted ways. Izumi went inside the restaurant to start his shift, and Touko went off to buy more food (to burn).

Hyun-Ki Gok || Frost Dragon [Human Form] || Home || N/A

The sun was beginning to rise when Hyun-Ki first opened his eyes. He stifled a groan by rolling onto his stomach, stuffing his face in his pillow in an attempt to get more sleep. He didn't have work for quite a few more hours, but he found his mornings usually starting earlier than he would like.

His body was so sore. He had been appearing in his human form for quite a few years now and he could feel the longing tug to transform when he could. But his small apartment probably couldn't accommodate for his large form and he didn't want to pay extra fees for scratches on the floor or dents in the wall because of a misstep.

Pushing his arms under his pillow, he groaned once more as he lifted his head finally, icy blue eyes dreary with sleep. He propped himself up on his forearms, not wanting to leave the comfort of his bed, and gazed towards his window. Despite the drapes that attempted to block the early morning light, they were thin with age and didn't do their job very well.

Rolling onto his back before fully sitting up, the covers pooled around his legs and he scratched his neck, yawning big before throwing his legs over the side of the bed. He pushed himself up and shuffled over to his closet, slipping on a thin shirt before he made his way to the bathroom.

Hyun-Ki grimaced at the state of his hair; it looked like a birds nest. That was what happened when he slept with gel in it, though, and he would have to thoroughly brush it before he could style it again. He probably didn't even need to style it today...he had work at noon. It wasn't like he had to keep up appearances to someone who came into the bar to get drunk at two in the afternoon.

Opting to fix his hair later, he made his way back over to his bed and pulled out out his laptop, sliding back under the covers before he began to browse. For what, he wasn't too sure. It was something to do while he waited for ten o'clock to come when he could start getting ready for work.

I have to make a grocery list, he thought to himself, lightly tapping his fingernails on the surface of the laptop before sitting up and reaching down to his nightstand, grabbing a pen and a notepad. He didn't need too much; he was pretty comfortable with where he was now, but he had a few dinner ideas that he wanted to try out. Not to mention the pile of dishes waiting to be done...eugh.

Nabiki Yousei || [Human] || Home --> Hiroto's Research Center of Ethology || Interacting with: [N/A]

There was no alarm to wake him, just the faint light peering in through his window and past the curtains that had been carelessly pulled open the day before. Nabiki would have closed them, just to grant himself a few more hours of rest, but he was awake now and he saw no point in attempting to recapture sleep. He rolled over onto his side, blindly reaching for the set of glasses that rested on his nightstand. Many people had commented on him switching to contact lenses, but every time Nabiki rejected the notion; contacts took too much effort and he found it much simpler to just place the glasses on his nose and be done with it.

It was significantly earlier than he would have woken up, Nabiki knew that just by looking outside. Usually he woke whenever he pleased and went to work at least before noon, but generally at a different time in the morning each day. The research lab rarely bothered him about his irregular schedule and if anyone did, it was always countered by his "useful contributions" that he made. That was more than likely a politer way of saying, "His family is wealthy, don't upset the son."

Nabiki ran a hand through his hair, wrapping his hand around the base of his neck and lifting up the tresses before hastily tying it up in a messy ponytail with some strands still falling in his face. Last night he had fallen asleep in his clothes from the day before and he smoothed them down with the palms of his hands to ensure they were at the very least presentable. The lab rarely complained about his attire, content with him as long as he was able to work, and that he was good with. The research had never been difficult for him, in fact he thrived when it came to it, which was probably the only reason he was tolerated.

Every morning started the same after he ordered a Genny on his phone. Nabiki would climb inside and sit down, leaning over to watch the outside while he waited for his destination to come onto view. He attached a set of earbuds to his phone and placed them in his ears, turning up the volume loud enough that it drowned out the noise around him. Even as he stepped out of the Genny and into the research center, he kept the earbuds in, humming beneath his breath as he ran his hand across various files and papers. Nabiki plucked up one of the books in the little section he had reserved for himself and trailed his fingers over the spine. It was the only novel on history he genuinely found interesting, the one he found with the most information about the history between dragons and humans.

I'll never see one, probably, Nabiki thought to himself before tossing the book aside and raising up other research files to flick through as he wandered through the research center.

Shizuru || Forest Dragon [Human Form] || At Sakura Cafe || Interacting with: Tsurui [@SketchyRawr]

Shizuru was stuffing her casual clothes into her personal locker in the female staff’s room, she always have a habit of changing into her working outfit before leaving home, and changing back into her casual clothes before leaving work, usually the workers have private gender-based changing rooms, because of obvious reasons, Shizuru usually change her clothes in the staff restroom but if she can save half of the trouble by changing at home first so why not, while she was bit bothered by the fact that she has to hide her true identity, but it cannot be helped so she has no other choice but to live by that rule.

After safely locking her stuffs, when she exited the room and heading over the front area, a more masculine voice greeted her, it was one of her co-workers, the barista boy who’s nearly a head shorter than her, with a skin tone that makes people wonder how is he still alive, one of the friendlier faces around here except the Cafe’s owner himself probably, if she recalled it right, his name was Kaminogi Tsurui.

“Good morning, Kaminogi-san.” Shizuru greeted lazily fighting back the urge to yawn, she was still rather tired, only slept for roughly 2 hours, but she’ll survive. She was definitely not addicted to the game at all.

“Thank you but I’m always early.” She said in a joking manner as she tidied her hair up in a high ponytail, since the collar of her shirt is high enough to cover up the scales behind her neck even if the uniform made her a bit stiff at times, there are some types of humans clothing that she doesn’t feel comfortable wearing, but at least wearing high heels isn’t a requirement, truly that thing is a stuff made out of nightmare and it made her wonder how human woman can even stand in them, let alone walking or running.

“Manager-san was looking for you, a few people are waiting for their order in a line.” She chuckled before giving him the usual general word of encouragement “Let’s do our best today as well.” before walking over to the counter to grab her notepad, because of the Cafe’s purpose to be old-fashioned, she has to go up to the table and to write the customer’s orders down herself, unlike the usual self-order touch screen notepad installed at every table can be found in nearly every other places.

Before they knew it, lunch break soon approached.

Zhigong Hou and Oedo Alley’s workers || Interacting with: Izumi [@Kaixin]

Someone must have seen him and Touko on their way to the restaurant or saw them outside, as Izumi was clocking in his shift, a human boy approached him, the boy looked young, perhaps in his early 20s, a few inches shorter than Izumi, probably a student working part-time to get some extra allowance, also a waiter himself but he was one of the more unfamiliar faces around, he just got the job recently. He had a teasing look on his face with a smug smile to compliment it

“Hey, hey! Uhh... Tatsu-san, isn’t it? I’m Makoto, Makoto Nagasawa.” He quickly introduced himself before continuing “I couldn’t help but to notice the girl you were with, who is she? She looked like she’d be your sister… But she’s cute, mind introducing her to me?”

Zhigong, the restaurant’s owner interrupted them shortly afterwards, pinching the bridge of his nose before he scolded the newcomer with a booming voice “Oi, get to work, boy, don’t let me catch you slacking off on your first day.” And with that the poor greenhorn quickly scurried away with his tail between his legs, the man clicked his tongue in annoyance before turning back to Izumi, sighing but looking softer now

“Tatsu-san, I have a request for you, there’s a batch that needs to be delivered to the city’s Research Center of Ethology at 11:55AM.” He scratched his head tiredly, explaining “Our delivery guy just called in, he got into an accident and was admitted to the hospital. The Research Center asked for personal delivery to their break room on the third floor. Could I trouble you this one time? If not then I can find somebody else.”

??? At Hyun-ki Gok [@ZyXeno]

A cryptic message was sent into his email, the sender was unknown and the address couldn’t be tracked, it read

“Let’s meet at Koya Cemetery, exactly 1:00 AM, no sooner no later, if you want to find out what happened to your parents.”
