However their peace didn’t last long, as the dragons served in an old dynasty were accused in an assassination plot of the Empress belonged to the Yamato family, the news of their outrageous crime was quickly spread afterwards and it travelled far and fast. Humankind, horrified and with the feeling of betrayal and rage, turned on their dragon allies, a huge war broke out between them, and the dragons couldn’t reason with them, resulting in a large scale massacre of dragonkin and quickly drove them into hiding to save themselves from being drove to the brink of extinction. Ever since then, even generations later, the dragons are still hated and hunted. However from the dragons side of the story, it was believed that, the four dragons that served in the Yamato family were actually trying to save the Empress from the murder attempt of her closest advisor and those that were loyal to him, obviously, the dragons failed. The dragons that survived the war and their youngs that lived on till today, still trying to find ways to prove their innocence. The year is 4010, our story takes place in a city that is located east of a futuristic Neo-Tokyo (Japan), is home to several Eastern Dragons, using their magic to take up a human disguise, so they can easily blend in with the crowds and continue to live their own life in peace. Their biggest giveaways are the patches of scales that are still visible on their skin. Most often on their back, neck, arms and legs. More rarely on their hands, feet and face. Will they let the past be or will they find the missing clues that will be brought to the lights? They also have the power to summon rain and create misty fogs when in danger to decrease the opponents' vision. "Scales are varying shades of blues and/or blue-greens. Eyes are always a deep blue." [*][u]Forest Dragons[/u]: They have a special acidic bite, from venom that comes from their top canine fangs that are powerful enough to penetrate nearly everything. They can control their own venom range from paralyzing to extremely deadly even to other dragons. "Scales are varying shades of browns and/or greens. Eyes are always varying shades of green." [*][u]Flame Dragons[/u]: The only type of Eastern Dragon that can spit fire, like their Western kin. With training, they can heat their whole body, their scales becoming hot to the touch, and can burn flesh. "Scales are varying shades of oranges and/or reds. Eyes are always a bright crimson, or a bright orange." [*][u]Earth Dragons[/u]: Able to camouflage themselves, Earth dragons are much better at concealing themselves. They were the first to create the magic that disguises the dragons as humans. They have a special restoration power, that can heals wounds and can easily bring any withered flora back to life. "Scales are varying shades of light tan, and/or yellows. Eyes are always a golden yellow." [*][u]Frost Dragons[/u]: Freezing cold breath, these dragons can create a layer of frost, and build upon it the longer they breathe. Like Flame dragons, they can cool down their bodies, so their scales become freezing cold to the touch. "Scales are varying shades of light blues and/or white. Eyes are always a light, icy blue." [/LIST] [b]+Mystic Types[/b] [LIST] [*][u]Night Dragons [b](0/2)[/b][/u]:They can blend in with the darkness, hiding in shadows. Night dragons with the proper training can control the shadows, as well. They can astral project, with the right training. People often believe they represent Yin. "Scales are commonly black, and more uncommonly very dark shades of purple or blue. Rarer, are they any other dark color. Manes and eyes are varying shades of purples or blues. (Unless the base color is of the rarer variant of colors.) Eyes are never a deep or light/icy blue." [*][u]Light Dragons [b](0/2)[/b][/u]:Light Dragons have mind reading and telepathic capabilities, as well as an extend of telekinesis. With proper training, they can control other's minds--to an extent. People often believe they represent Yang. "Scales are commonly white, and more uncommonly very light shades of yellow or orange. Rarer, are they any other light color. Manes are varying shades of yellow or orange. (Unless the base color is of the rarer variant of colors.) Eyes are always a pale yellow." Keitaro Hideyuki - Sakura Cafe's owner/founder. He’s a human man in his late 30s, Keitaro has a passionate love for coffee which lead him to open the Sakura Cafe roughly 5 years ago with a purpose that is to bring the wonders of freshly grinded coffee to the younger generations nowadays, who have grown accustomed to drinking coffee in vending machines and packed bags.

Because he wanted for everyone to take a trip down the nostalgic lane, the Sakura Cafe is Victorian styled shop with an elegant and peaceful atmosphere where people can come in to sit down, relax and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee after a long day or a hard week, truly a haven contradicted to the fast-paced and futuristic society they’re living in.

Keitaro has a calm, friendly and kind personality, however he’s a bit of a pushover and found it rather hard to deal with troublemakers so he usually goes along until they get bored and leave. Because of his huge love for coffee, the man is equipped with many knowledge of coffees and can go on and on forever about coffee and such if anyone pushes the right button.

He has a habit of travelling around the world searching for new ways to make coffee and such so he usually leaves the shop in the care of his managers, who eventually got to improve and expand the Cafe, making it more spacious and with a larger menu of drinks (beside all kind of coffees) and desserts for people to enjoy.

Raiden Matsuda - WARP Frenzy’s owner. He is a human man in his early 30s, inherited the club from his father who decided to retire early. Raiden, true to his name, is a force to be reckoned with, he doesn’t only looks intimidating, his personality is also quite unforgiving should anyone dare to cross him, being the one running one of the most, if not the most famous night club in the city, Raiden is definitely acquaintances with a lot of shady and dangerous groups of people.

He is almost never seen without his bodyguards and is very secretive when travelling around even in the city, a person under any normal circumstances would never cross paths with him at all. Raiden is almost rarely even present in his own club, usually leaving his lackeys to deal with things, probably he has more important things to deal with. He is also a notorious playboy, he lives by his money, fame and the women among the circle of rich people he’s associated with, often found themselves in his bed one way or another, which he’d soon get tired and throw the previous one aside to get a new toy in no time, sometimes but rarely an unrelated and unfortunate soul would wander into his trap.

Kaede Williams - Club Element’s owner. A human man in his early 40s, he was promoted by the previous club owner who didn’t have any successor to take over the club. His father was an American while his mother was Japanese, he was born and raised in a rural area in Japan and his father unfortunately passed away due to a traffic accident, leaving his mother and him in the care of his grandparents. Kaede dropped out of school during his Junior High due to his mother’s critical illness that left her bedridden and his grandparents being too old to work to pay for his schooling fee. Kaede had to find all kinds of odd jobs to pay for his mother’s medication until one day he landed a job in the Club Element and has been working in it ever since.

While it was tough and he got roped into all kinds of dangerous situations, he survived and became battle-hardened through the years, at least he got more than enough money to take care of his mother well until her very last moments. Contradicted to the wild Raiden, Kaede is a family man with a wife and two kids and he tries his best not to get involved with dangerous parties, keeping his family safe is more or less his top priority.

Because he’s running the club that’s rivaling the WARP Frenzy, it is no surprise that he also got a few targets on his back from the people hiding in the shadows, however he respects Raiden’s ‘territories’ but the same can’t be said about the younger, hungrier wolf. However he always keeps a calm and cool demeanor when dealing with troubles and he knows his own limits. Unlike Raiden, Kaede often resides in his club during his working hours, looking out for the place so that it’s not crawling with all kinds of shady people, which made Club Element is ‘cleaner’ than the WARP Frenzy.

Natsuki Gia Hoàng - The Stormy Serpent’s owner/founder. She appears to be a woman in her late 20s, but the truth is she’s a dragon who is in fact, thousands of years old. Founded the Stormy Serpent roughly 3 years ago, one of the city’s friendlier, warm and cozy bars, they also serve foods and non-alcoholic drinks here, quite odd considering its name is “Stormy” Serpent, however when asked, Natsuki just answered that because she liked the name.

She has a pleasant personality, humorous, quick-witted and friendly, she’s rather playful and is quick to strike up any kind of conversation with the customers and her workers, she’s caring towards to nearly everyone even if she doesn’t know them, always offer a helping hand to her workers when they’re in a tight spot and usually goes easy on any mistakes they might make, however don’t mistaken her for a pushover, no living soul would ever want to witness an angry Natsuki, the last group of hooligans that went into the bar to cause trouble, nobody heard of them ever again. It’s just because she scared them off.

Because of her charm, many were quick to fall for her, however she gently turned them all down for some reason, Natsuski usually just brushed it off as she’s not interested and not looking to be in any romantic relationship. She always keeps a low profile, her true identity is only ever revealed to a handful of people who are truly close to her and that she trusts them enough, however her background forever remains a mystery, she never shared a single word about it to a single soul. If asked, Natsuki would answer differently each time, so who really knows? It doesn’t matter anyways as Natsuki is still the same as ever, she doesn’t appear to be bothered by such questions at all.

Hitomi Kamaji - Spa Kamaji’s owner. She’s a human woman who is only in her early 20s, Hitomi inherited the family’s residence as well as the onsen when her aunt passed away. Grew up without a father, her mother Hitomi in the care of her sister, which is Hitomi’s aunt and her mother--Hitomi’s grandmother and got herself a job overseas, she’s rarely home ever since. Hitomi grew up in the care and love of her aunt and grandma which helped her turned out to be a lovely and caring person.

The death of her aunt struck her hard but her grandmother has always been around to support her and help her around with the onsen while Hitomi tries to juggle between her studies at the university and learning how to fill in her aunt’s shoes at being the head of the family’s business. Because of how young she is compared to the workers at the Spa Kamaji, oftenly people do not take her seriously, but she tries not to let it bother her and works hard to earn her rightful place, though it’s going to be a long journey, she’s determined to go through it.

Despite coming from a wealthy family, Hitomi is as humble as a person can be, prefers to stick to her own line and staying out of the spotlight and troubles. Since she’s really busy with her schedule, Hitomi sometimes regrets that she has to decline her classmates’ invitations to hang out, slowly turning her into someone who doesn’t have many friends, saved for a very few that she knew since Junior High that still keep in touch with her till now. Sometimes it made her wondering whether if her choices were right, but seeing her old grandmother working very hard to help out with the onsen while she was at university with a kind smile on her face every time she greeted Hitomi when she’s home, Hitomi knew that she must do her best for her dear grandmother.

Zhigong Hou - Oedo Alley’s owner. He's a human male in his early 40s, the Oedo Alley was a family owned, Chinese restaurant. Ever since Zhigong became the boss 15 years ago, he started to open up recruitment, considering the rapid growth of the restaurant he suggested that they’d need more helping hands around. Of course Zhigong does not play favorites with the workers who are his own relatives, he’s fair to everyone. Their goal was to spread the goodness of Chinese cuisines to Japan and to invite in anyone that’s far from home to enjoy a taste that’s “just like mom’s cooking”.

Zhigong is as average as a businessman goes, he takes great pride in his restaurant’s foods and it shows, he is quite strict and demands that his chefs must follow traditional recipes written by his great grandparents, believing that it’d preserve the original taste of the dishes, and it looks like he wasn’t wrong about it, consider the booming business of the Oedo Alley as always. However, he is quite unforgiving should anyone mess up, be it either the waiters, chefs or even the managers, to Zhigong, the customers are the most important, therefore he pressures his staff into pleasing and tolerating them in any situation.

Because of that the Oedo Alley remains on the top list of Chinese restaurants in Hiroto City, because of the good foods and the high quality of customer service, and Zhigong wants it to stay that way. Outside of work, he’s as normal as a person can be, aside from the fact that he remarried for the third time already, but he takes good care of all of his children no matter who the mother is, willing to let any of them inherit the Oedo Alley if they can prove themselves fit for the role.

She’s 6 meters tall (measured at the shoulders) and 25 meters long. Shizuru can grow another pair of horns and fangs when she’s fully matured, since dragons age differently from humans, she’s only roughly 17 in human age, it's going to be a long while more until she reach full maturity, potentially growing even bigger in size. [b]Human Appearance:[/b] [img]https://i.ytimg.com/vi/8Ap9DawOcz8/maxresdefault.jpg[/img] In this form, she’s exactly like an ordinary human, save for the patches of scales hidden behind her clothes. She’s taller than most average Japanese women, at about 178cm in height, she has rather fit body type for someone who prefers to laze around on a free day. Light skin tone, long, thick dark brown hair, emerald green eyes. Always wears clothes and accessories that cover her shoulders and neck when going outside, she has one ear side piercing. [b]Personality:[/b] Shizuru is laid back, a bit sarcastic and likes to act like she's uncaring and ignorant but in reality she can be quite observant and sensitive. She's a major slack-off and spends most, if not, all of her time being immersed in human's very much advanced technologies (specifically video games) and [s]watching animes[/s], she can also be described as selfish, as she'd not get involved into issues and conflicts unless it concerned her, prefers flight over fight. However, if one can look past Shizuru's passiveness and stubbornness, she is genuinely kind-hearted, somewhat crafty, caring and loyal to those who are dear to her, and she has a really mean bite (literally) if someone was to mess with them. [b]Biography:[/b] She was the result of a union between a Fire and a Forest dragon. Her father was a hyperactive and tempered Forest dragon while her mother was a more calm and mild-mannered Fire dragon, they were both very aware of the story behind the Empress's assassination and they are both actively working to prove the dragon's innocent along with her older sister, but not Shizuru who preferred to let things worked out on their own and only cared about her selfish needs. Her family's and her perspectives were greatly different so they were disappointed in Shizuru and it was pretty often that her father and older sister got into arguments with her while her mother always tried to break them off. Until one day she decided to let Shizuru go face the world and live on her own until she finally changes and becomes more responsible. Shizuru had left the house with an indifferent expression and a heavy heart, which she'd never admit. Since then she has constantly switched her living places, working places and identity in the span of a couple of years to blend in with human society and to avoid suspicions. She's currently living in an apartment and got a job as the waitress at the Sakura Cafe. [b]Extra/Others:[/b] -Tokyo -Has a patch of green mixed with brownish scales formed on both her shoulders to the nape of her neck and trailed down her spine. -Her venom's range depended on how threatened she felt. If she sees the problem is not much of life threatening then her venom could be used to paralyze and/or put one into a knock-out stage. If she feels that she was dealing with something dangerous then a bite from her is resulted in death within minutes. Getting bitten again by Shizuru is the antidote to her venom. -Her eyes are always green but they flashed dots of red before she shifted into her dragon form (Like the image above). -Learned martial arts to defend herself without having to use her dragon strengths. -An Otaku.
