So after like a full day of just going back and forth, me and my friends have... nothing really substantial XD So I figured I'll just throw some images and their dynamic at you and let you have at it?
Here is Majin being bad-a**, here is some protective okinobu, and here is a Jalter picture I just thought was Neat
Characterization Stuff:
Maou - The idea of 'Oda Nobunaga' taken to its logical extreme. A conqueror who's given up the veneer of humanity in order to guide humanity to its best state. Her aim is to free mankind from the influence of gods/outsiders. The name 'Maou' comes from her nickname 'the Demon King of the Sixth Heaven', specifically the 'Demon King' part (which she's called because people were afraid of her when she was alive and hated her after she died).
Majin - An alternate version of Okita Souji who made a contract with the World to be allowed the chance to live. As such, she's basically a one-and-done existence (as in, get sent out into the world to do a task, and upon its completion, she'll die and be erased). Pretty naive and new to everything, but also a deadly swordsman.
Maou/Majin - A lot of Maou/Majin's interactions would focus on the idea of Majin finding agency and being able to do what she wanted. In a certain (non-canon) scenario, the World might pit Majin against Maou because of how much Maou sparks change in the area where she's active. Although Maou herself is a good fighter, she admits (canonically) that if anyone was able to kill her, it might be Majin. So their thing is the interplay of Maou wanting Majin to find herself, versus Majin being the only one who could kill Maou
