The Shifting Expanse was Genesis' favorite place. Despite his intense love for the beautiful puffy clouds that he lived in, there was something.. [i]Thrilling[/i] about the claps of thunder and the lightning that struck the ground.
The rolling of thunder could be heard from above, a flash here and there. Genesis loved it. A sudden flash of white to his side caught him off guard, nearly making him stop in his flight.
"Hello there stranger. You seem to be lost?" Another Coatl came up next to him. He was magnificent looking. His plumage shone in the light, the lightning illuminating them nicely.
"[i]Me? Lost?[/i]" He gave a chuckle. "[i]I'm never lost in the clouds. But, I may get lost in your eyes.[/i]" He winked at the male, flying beside him with a smirk.
"Oh, a flirt are you? I should have known with such a.. Beautiful aura." Ain said with a smirk.
Genesis would have to come visit more often.

(sorry i wrote this late and i havent written anything in a while)
A flame had lit up the forest.
Not literally, of course, Harlow reminded himself. But the vibrant oranges of feathers could easily be mistaken for a controlled flame, lighting up the morning gloom. Seeing this warm beauty was not what the Spiral had expected when he had come to visit his family, but the Spiral felt the need to know more.
Harlow flew among the branches, keeping an eye on the Wildclaw. He noted that the other moved carefully, pausing every so often to study an interesting plant. Despite the variety of flamboyant flowers blooming, the Wildclaw outshone them all.
An idea crept into Harlow's mind, and he flew out of sight, looking for the most interesting plant in reach. He settled on a series of leafy vines with flowers the same fiery orange as the Wildclaw. Using nature magic, he let the vines grow onto one of his arms, breaking it off and using a little more magic to keep it alive.
He flew back to the Wildclaw, this time stopping in his sights. The other dragon seemed curious by his approach, but not surprised by his arrival. From here, the Spiral could easily see his red eyes, which he had missed before. Harlow sighed to himself in anticipation and held out his vine-and-flower-covered arm.
"Sorry, sir, but I was flying by and I couldn't help but notice how you were studying the native undergrowth," he spoke slowly, slightly embarrassed with himself. "I hope you don't mind if I offer you this specimen-- it matches you well."

Eltanin hadn't really wanted to join Stratonimbus on her monthy visit to her home realm, however, she had told him that there was another Imperial that he might enjoy the company of. The Ridgeback seemed to forget that Imperials usually didn't enjoy one another's company, but he was always willing to try and appease her. She got snippy when she didn't have help wandering to the Shifting Expanse, it was a long and rather exhausting journey, and if she got tired, she could nap on his back.
Eltanin's claws kneaded the soft dirt of the Lightning Farm, waiting for Stratonimbus to descend from the grand Spire in Pistoleer's clan's territory. He scribbled idly in his notebook, kept tucked away in his satchel, when a long lavender form caught his attention. He knew it was rude to stare, but he just.. Couldn't stop himself. His claws moved to capture every detail he could about the Imperial, his tongue peeking out from beneath his teeth as he focused, until a shape blocked his light and-
Oh.
"May I help you?" The object of his sudden infatuation loomed over him, looking down at him, [i]studying his drawings[/i] and causing the smaller Imperial to shuffle his wings awkwardly.
"I, um, I'm just, I'm waiting for my friend, she's, um, checking in with the Boss, y'know, big Stormcatcher on top, just visiting from the Starfall Isles, I.." His voice trailed off. He found himself getting lost in the Imperial's eyes, eyes that closed in almost exasperation at how much Eltanin was stumbling over himself.
"What's your name?" The Imperial asked, and Eltanin snapped his notebook shut, stuffing it back into his satchel.
"Um, I'm.. I'm Eltanin.. And you are?" He returned the question, his tail swishing slowly. The pastel Imperial shut his eyes.
"My name is Enivii. I am one of the Archivers of this clan. I keep track of what the clan wants." Eltanin blinked rapidly, rosey eyes staring back into fresh, leafy green ones, and he puffed his chest a bit.
"Oh, ok, um, I, I guess I'll see you next month?" He smiled awkwardly, watching Enivii walk from him.
"I suppose so.." Eltanin could've sworn that the older dragon was smiling just a bit.

It had been a long day. Morningstar traveled far in search of food for his clan. All he's seen is birds and small mammals. All far too small to feed the clan. Huffing, he sat against a tree, sharpening his arrows and dagger.
It was a rather nice day, not too warm but not too cold. Slightly overcast, perhaps calling for a bit of rain. After a bit, he decided to continue. Hoping that maybe something would show up.
But sadly, all that showed up was a half eaten carcass.
Curiosity getting the better of him, Morningstar figured he might as well investigate.
"Half eaten. Pretty fresh.." He mumbled as he circled around it. "Blood trail.." He followed the trail into a small patch of bushes. What ever killed this elk had to be big. "Bingo." He said with a smirk, dashing to follow the trail.
He was silent, moving swiftly through the bushes and trees. Leaping over rocks and fallen logs. Sometimes he thinks he should have been a Wildclaw. He came to a stop at a small lake, viewing it as he thought about what he was chasing.
Noise from across the pond caught his attention. It was huge, much bigger than he was. If it weren't for the horns and long tail, he'd a thought it was a bear. Hiding in the shadows, he observed. Then nearly jumped out of his feathers when the creature looked at him.
[i]A Gaoler? I thought those were simply a myth..[/i] He thought to himself, breathing in it's magnificence.
"[i]I can smell you.. You know.[/i]" They called out, standing to their full height. "[i]I won't hurt you.[/i]" Benny could sense the other dragons heartbeat. It was racing. Either the Skydancer has never seen a Gaoler before, or he knew he was a vampire. ...Ish..
Stepping out of the shadows, Morningstar looked up at the male, tilting his head as he watched him. He was slightly bloody, perhaps from a fight?
"I'm sorry to disturb you.. I was just.. Looking for something big to bring back to my clan. I saw a carcass not too far away, and I stopped and." He motioned at Benny.
Benny chuckled. "[i]I usually don't leave much left. Especially blood..[/i]" He seemed almost sheepish. "[i]I uh.. Wasn't very hungry today..[/i]" He could see the sudden fear in his eyes. Benny backed up slightly and cleared his throat. "[i]I should go.. I can see I-[/i]"
"You're a vampire? Or-or do Gaolers drink blood as well?" Morningstar asked seriously. "You're the first Gaoler I've seen. And I must say, You might put all the ones I see next to shame." He said with a smirk. He may be a hunter, but he's got some game.
"[i]O-oh, well.. I don't think they do..[/i]" He was definitely sheepish now. "[i]I-I don't even know how I.. Turned. I-I-I swear I only drink from animals! I-I've never drank an ounce of dragon blood..[/i]" He's never been good with social interactions.
"Bah. I'm not worried. You look far too nice and cute to hurt anyone." He paused. "Well. Except for animals, that is." Morningstar chuckled. Benny looked down at his claws. This is the best interactions he's had after telling someone he's a vamp.
"[i]W-well.. Thank you. You have nice..[/i]" He paused, furrowing his brows and giving a nervous smile. "[i]Feathers.[/i]"
"Thank you. I do have to go now, it's getting late and I have a long way to go. Maybe I'll find something on the way home." He said more to himself. "But, if you're ever in the Starfall Isles, feel free to visit." He winked before dashing into the sky.
"[i]O-ok..[/i]" Benny said simply. Perhaps peoples minds have changed about the supernatural?
(Whoo hopefully that's ok. I went with a time before Gaolers were known of, and were simply thought to be myths. Morningstar didn't have any lore or anything, so I hope I did alright making him a slightly sassy hunter.)

Hikari sat by the river staring out into the blue sky. Suddenly a white flash appareed.
[i]A cloud? [/I] Hikari thought, as he stood up and went to check where the white had landed, [i]No clouds don't fall from the sky[/I]
Peering around a tree, Hikari gasped. There sitting by a bush was gorgeous pearl catcher.
Hikari quickly walked over, stumbling over his claws.
"H-H-Hi! I'm Hikari! You fly fast, uhhhh, HI!"
The Pearlcatcher smiled at him and let out a giggle,
"Thank you! My names Amara, I was just scouting for my clan. You should see my fly at my fastest, it puts what you just saw to disgrace!"
Hikari stared, not only was the Pearlcatcher beautiful, but she was so confident! She must be a goddess!
"You sooo pretty..." Hikari thought.
"Why Thank you!"
Hikari gasped, had he just said that outloud?! Blushing he mumbled a small "excuse me" and fled into the forest to dig his own grave.

Hears a lovely melody. Following his ears, he is faced with yet another mysterious looking, eye-catching dragon playing music by some rocks. His girlfriend, Madrilenia, noticed Lunari's abrupt stop. Getting the attention of their other boyfriends, Orion and Aku, she motions to the drooling, gaping goofball they know as Lunari. Aku Snickers, and pulls out the container of colorful flower petals Lunari begged Aku to bring with. Lunari grabs it without turning around, and runs to find a hidden spot right behind the musician in front of him. Sneaking up from behind, Lunari soundlessly uncorked the glass bottle of petals and poured them all into his paws, careful not to drop too many. Lunari took in a quiet, deep breathe, excitement building, he steeled himself. Suddenly he popped up from his position behind the rocks, and dropped the flower petals over the poor, unsuspecting dragon.

Being dared to try flirting with the first dragon he saw, he made direct eye contact with a gorgeous female guardian, he tried to walk in a fancy way, but tripped his on his own feet!
He quickly stood up and saw the guardian walking away, he jogged over to her side, "Hi! I'm Oceanhorizon, what's your name?"
"Sunset" she replied, then kept walking.

The flora and fauna of the Tanglewood were lovely this time of day, the Skydancer took note. The plants and animals were so unique, so very different from any he'd seen before. At some point, he noticed, he'd wandered close to a clan. He peered at the dragons with blatant interest, eyes flicking from dragon to dragon until he noticed a breathtaking Pearlcatcher. As he walked forward, he tripped on his paws somewhat before shaking out of his daze.
"Hello! I couldn't help but notice your scales! They're very pretty, and I was wondering how you kept them so shiny?" he realized how silly he sounded after saying the words, continuing on a bit awkwardly. "It's just, I've never seen anyone with scales quite like yours, and I haven't gotten to meet many pearlcatchers back home, so it's really cool to see one as nice looking as you do." he flushed slightly at his words, uncertainty setting in as he remembered how his eyes weren't as magnificent as the dragon before him.
He coughed slightly. "Ah, sorry. I suppose I should introduce myself before asking you so many questions. My name is Specs, and I was wondering if you might have some time to talk? Um, alone, that is? If you aren't busy, of course." he added, going a bit pinker as he spoke.
The dragon stared at him with a slightly perplexed look, obviously not used to the stream of talking and compliments from a dragon quite like that. "I'll be able to speak with you in a few moments, I just have to close up shop first." Specs glanced around, having not quite noticed what the dragon had been doing before hand. Lo and behold, he was in fact standing in front of a storefront.
"What are selling?" he asked, watching the dragon flip the 'open' sign to 'closed'. "Well, I have a wide variety of things, if you'd like me to show you?" Specs grinned, nodding. "Please, lead the way!"
