For starters, try the easy mode first. You tap on a tile to change its color and the color(s) of the surrounding tiles. Yellow changes to purple and vice versa. Your goal is to make all of the tiles one color (all yellow OR all purple) for all the modes.

Are you referring to tapping a tile to change its color and the color(s) of the surrounding tiles? If so... Tapping a tile flips its color (yellow to purple or vice versa) and the color(s) of the surrounding tiles, the tiles touching it on the six sides. The best way to make ALL the tiles one color (yellow OR purple) is to pick a color for theboard to finish in, then corner the other color into a corner or to the side of the shape, but make sure that all or most of the incorrectly colored tiles (the other color) are "moved" into a group before cornering them.
