They aren't doubles or triples but I acquired some of the best XYZ's I've ever seen. One was an impulse buy from someone's mass hatch and the other was won in a raffle that I just entered in levels for.
Sometimes just just to go for it. Especially if you see great potential. Their future scries are in their bios. Already started on one.

What you describe is how I ended up with this boy. Against my better judgment I went to the AH a few months ago and was looking at cheap gen1s... he caught my eye and I fell in love and now he is mine and on his way to becoming beautiful.
...which will take a while because I’m dirt-poor at the moment, but shhh. It’ll happen someday.

As the idiot who sold this dragon, I can confirm that I do not know G1 markets. At all. I hate to do research so it's always hard to figure out pricing.
@Foxe very kindly sent me extra loot to make up for the fact that I made the pricing mistake, I'm very glad that the dragon went to someone SO excited about beautifying him and who will love him as he deserves. (by the way he hatched that color combo, the water eyes made him especially nice) I'm still happy to have sold him to them, even with this new information, lol.

@ShinyObsessed so you know, you can always ask about that sort of thing in the Help Center! if you make a post and ask about a dragon in particular, there's plenty of folks there who can help you pin down a range of prices so you can go into sales a bit more informed of their potential value. c:
