Araenai! She's my clan leader, so she's kind of just automatically always my favorite. She was one of my first breeding projects and I love her to pieces!

RoseTea was a gift from a shadeling when I was going through a really rough time. I don't know what it is about her, but she's always been a calming presence to me. Picturing her in her garden, or brewing up something fun for the hatchlings, she's always been top of the list of my favorites.

Chance is my favorite because I could never get rid of him. When he first hatched, I thought he was cute and would be so handsome once he was older. After a while of seeing the adult Chance, there was just something about him I didn't like. I didn't want to exalt him, as I still saw something in him that made him interesting. Fortunately a friend decided to take him from me, and I was happy to gift him to her. A little while later, life happened, and my friend could no longer play, so she gave me the choice to take any dragons from her lair that I wanted. This boy happened to be one of them. Once back in my lair, I still had no clue what to do with him until I threw some steampunk on him, and finally saw what was lurking there the entire time. Now he's the crazy inventor in the lair, always working on something.

Nixie was a lucky happenstance of breeding. As soon as she was hatched, I already knew she had a thing for taking care of animals. She started out by housing the familiars no one else had wanted, and now, she is caretaker, and diplomat, between the clans and beast clans. On her own bit of land, she has everything she needs to feed, clean, entertain, and take care of anyone, or anything, that comes her way. When a new creature is discovered, she's always the first to make note of it, to attempt to prepare things, just in case one happens to come in. Should a dragon be on a search for a companion, she writes up the contracts and ensures the owner and familiar, get along well. She considers herself a "collector" of sorts, and wants to see all that the beast clans have to offer. Just so she can have the pride of being able to host all known species in the beast clans.

The first one I bought straight off the AH when I was a Newbie, The first one that had some kind of apparel, the first one who received battle stones and a Eliminate, the first one who reached lvl 25, the first one with some bio coding and history... and a lot more. He is by far my favorite dragon, but only because he was my first one. Something like when you choose charmander as your starter, and then you have 6 legendaries but the charizard has to stay in the team. Even if he is absolutely fodder, is my spoiled dragon. Maybe someday I'll find a replacement.

But Mudarribd couldn't have been the absolute "First" in everything in my gameplay, because there was this guy: The Beholder, first offspring of my Progens. Yeah, from that horrible nest that the system annoyingly forces you to do and hatch. I kept him and his brothers for some time, using them only to start expanding in my clan lore. And was that. Just a piece of lore that I liked, that was what attached this dragon to me when I exalted -almost- all of his siblings. He still lurks in my lair, and somehow has some lore connection with -almost- every dragon in my clan.

But I have this guy, who was the last son of a failed breeding project, and luckily he got decent colors to help the corrected version of the breeding project. And that's how he founded an entire faction of my clan: Alsamzuru, which is kind of a latinization from the Arab of "Venomous Fox".
