Talos is the Stormlord. He bends the weather of the Shifting Expanse to his will and woe betide anyone who thinks he's anything less than a force of raw nature. There's a hurricane of power under the surface of him, the lightning flows as easily as breathing. Much like the weather, there is very little kindness to be had in Talos, as generally he exists to tear things apart, though there was a time he adopted a young Tundra lass as his own daughter/apprentice and was fiercely protective of her, which surprised Clan Fulgurite to no end because it seemed wildly out of character. Talos is not compassionate. He's the harbinger of death from the sky. Apparently he's complicated, and nobody is quite sure what to make of him now that he's not [i]just[/i] a quiet, deadly storm-conjuring force of pure destruction whose voice gets softer when he gets angry.
His magic is the magic of the land from which he was born. He's a child of the Shifting Expanse, and the ferocious storms that sunder the sky rage inside of him too.

Not many remember him as a young, undisciplined student of magic either, when the power was just crackling under his skin and fighting to rage free and hurt things. Those days of wild magic and painful accidents are long over, though. Mystic's command of the arcane is unmatched. Actually, his control is so tight, precise, smooth...he's more than a little terrifying to the clan when they stop to think about what he can actually do.
However, Mystic is a master of transmutation magic, so whenever someone in the clan feels they're in the wrong body, he's the one they turn to for corrective measures ([i]read: he's who I blame for gene scroll shenanigannery[/i]). Unlike Talos, who is a damage-caster in the Coliseum, Mystic's specialty is making the melee fighters faster, stronger, and ultimately more dangerous.

Like Talos, Aeon is a force of nature. Unlike the Stormlord, Aeon is a force of gentler nature, usually. As a druid, he's a custodian of balance, as a faithful supplicant of the Gladekeeper, he's a nurturing caretaker of all things alive and growing. He can bring down the wrath of nature when his clan is threatened, but he by and large vastly prefers the healing crafts, curing the sick and mending the wounded, both physically and spiritually. Even if they can't always understand what he's trying to say, because he's a coatl with...interesting syntax.
Excerpt from the RP story I was writing to explain my brief Flight change from Lightning to Nature:
[i] “If may I,” murmurs Aeon later, his broken draconic Common soft and [u]almost[/u] tonally correct. The earthy Coatl makes his way between mournful and confused clan leaders, or so it seems Menae and Vigilance have become almost accidentally. “If may I, suggest do land of nest-home. Healing, place of. Harmony, place of. Much clan use harmony healing and could.”
It takes Menae a moment to sort the last sentence. Rhun and Salena have an excellent grasp of draconic Common. Aeon does not, the Coatl an enviable healer and powerful, fearsome druid, but certainly no linguist. His syntax is terrible, but once Menae puzzles through to his point, she has to concede he has one.
The clan certainly does need much harmony and healing.
It’s more of a plan than they’d had before.
“We’re moving,” Menae announces the next morning. “Pack what you need to keep. Leave the rest. We’re leaving within the day. The Viridian Labyrinth will be our new home.”[/i]
Clan Fulgurite eventually moved back to the Shifting Expanse, but the sojourn in Nature was a necessary break. It certainly let Aeon practice Gladekeeper's spellcraft to heal the clan.

He has an apprentice named Xanraa as well, but if he's smart he will never trust her as her motives for learning magic are far more sinister than even the seer Valraen can predict.
