When Zyadral and her mate Corinth first began building their clan in Dragonhome a disaster struck, a large earthquake decimated the area where they lived. The clan all agreed to move away from the disaster but both Corinth and Zyadral couldn't leave their home, being so firmly rooted in tradition, so they went on to serve Earthshaker and allow the clan to roam as they wish. When Zyadral returned from her stay with the deity she found that she strongly opposes the clan settling down in the Southern Icefields. She is currently gathering a group of dragons to take them back to Dragonhome and re-instill them with the history they left behind.
(She's a passionate, salty mom who wants her kids to come home, basically.)

[i]Originally of the Tundra breed, young Yevaud became aware of himself for the first time out on the bare expanse of the Southern Icefields. Many Tundra have poor memory, but he was puzzled for the fact that he was utterly alone. He didn’t remember a single thought or happenstance before his awakening.
As he wandered, he came across a young Mirror dragon. He barely remembered Mirrors were normally antagonistic towards other dragon breeds, particularly if they were not of the same flight upon encounter. However, this one seemed very injured, and barely moved as Yevaud approached it. Carrying the limp Mirror on his back, he headed towards a nearby cave to escape the frost and wind.
Without going on too long-- eventually this Mirror became known as Reach, the clan's matriarch, and Yevaud's mate. The two had traveled onward together to go establish their ties to the Icewarden, and to form a clan, considering the two did not have anywhere else to go or belong to.
His goal is to understand more fully his own origins and the world at large. Yevaud is a bit too naive to travel alone to other regions though, and usually needs accompaniment despite his offensive skills with magic. As a clan leader, he was assigned a Frostbite Hummingbird by the Icewarden, who seems to sometimes fly back to the Warden and report on the clan’s activities.
The Warden still seems quite dismayed by Yevaud’s welcoming nature which has been unchanged over time, despite Yevaud's many physical changes and mental ones as well. Since being changed into a Pearlcatcher's form-- he has done much better with his memory over all. His pearl was formed around a small fossil he found in the original area he and Reach began their clan.[/i]

Avak left his birth Clan, wanting to get away from his demanding parents. He traveled for years, not caring about his future, just wanting to run. Then he rescued a injured Tundra named Tawni, who had also left her Clan, though for different reasons. It was Tawni's idea to start their own Clan.

FlamingEmerald left her clan when her parents and siblings died in a fight. She trained in their honor and decided to start her own clan. Soon she met and fell in love with Lightice. They are honored elders and enjoy watching the Clan.

Lily founded the clan, and has remained the leader for the majority of its existence. She is beloved by the citizens of her city for her pleasant and humble personality. She shops at the market, watches plays, and visits the seashore outpost alongside everyone else. Visitors often mistake her for a commoner until they see her perched on the city wall, making an announcement.
