I've been getting quite a few ads that autoplay their sound. :/ I'll be off doing art in another window and suddenly something makes sound in firefox. So then I have to track down which tab is playing the ad and then close it. That one that played just now was a Foster Farms ad, I believe.

I've recently had an issue with an ad playing sound on its own as well (using Safari on a Mac). It was a Talbots commercial playing in the red footer.

That's happened to me with the same ad. I hate playing find the tab.

i've been having the same problem recently with ads. they start playing sound at random and scroll me to the bottom and lock me there for a few seconds. i hope it something the admins can fix soon. its really annoying. the ads that do it are random i think. but i'm not sure

I just encountered an ad for Shutterfly on the bottom ad banner in the forums. it played a video, with extremely loud audio.
Edit: It is an Xfinity ad that turns into a shutterfly ad when the video is done? it loads for a bit then plays the video again

I've been getting ads that redirect and take over the whole page probably once or twice a day. Here's some screenshots;

I'm not sure if the one that firefox blocked is useful, but it had a link so maybe?? I've gotten some different ones, too. Will add them as they pop up.
I'm on a pc using firefox, if that's relevant.

Didn't nab a screen shot because there was no clear info in it about what the site was. No like logo or anything, just a box that said my computer had a virus and to hit ok (hitting ok pretty sure would have given me the virus it said I all ready had), but the website was;

without the spaces obviously. Didn't want anyone to accidentally click on what was clearly a virus, lmao
JK, after backspacing on this latest one I got it took me to another page that seemed to have been the original pop up which led to more malicious ones? like a chain of them, if that makes sense. I grabbed a screen shot of the couple different links in my history, which is here;

Ok I got a complaint and bug report here.
There's an add that plays sound (which I didn't think waspossbile and I dislike it very much, ok I'm heading towards livid with it popping up) at the worse of times.
It also it scrolls your page to the bottom and makes you unable to scroll up, unless you really try hard to scroll up (not helping when turns need be done ok).
This has been happening alot and not just to me, my friends too who asked me they can what to do about it.
This add has popped more than 20 times (yes I counted) in less than half an hour and it keeps happening on all of FR's different pages.
