Alright this is freaking annoying.

Almost every time I go to a new page while still on the FR site I keep getting this weird pop-up ad. When I try to make forum posts and it happens, it intercepts the forum posting so it doesn't actually end up posting and I'm redirected to the ad instead. You can't back out of the ad either.

This is the URL. Please fix this! It's extremely frustrating and I'm pretty sure it's a scam/malware thing, and that's the last thing I need on my computer.

I'm betting there was just a delay before the ad that hijacked me loaded.

I've had the ad I reported yesterday pop up at least a dozen times since then too. Isn't there anything you can do? I cannot even go from the forums to a site a user links without a warning page in between telling me I'm about to leave the site. It would be nice to get that warning instead of a phishing ad!

I've been trying to nail the original redirect that keeps grabbing me for weeks and finally did! It's the ad(dot)choicefishing(dot)com one, it leads to random phishing/scam sites. Glad it's not just me.

ETA: For completeness' sake, it seems to happen on any page, as the shuffle brings it up. I tend to have multiple tabs open when it happens, I was in my Lair this time.

ETAA: It just happened again while clicking to my lair from someone else's dragon page, and I happened to notice the ad that was on it when I clicked out--the baby stroller one. If there's a set order to the shuffle of the ads, perhaps it's the one that comes after that? Or it's the baby stroller ad itself?

I don't think my friend knows about this thread so I'll report it for her. It seems to be just apple stuff but she says every time she tries to access various areas of the site she gets a pop up or redirected to an ad specifically identifying her iPhone model and offering services related to it. it only happens on this site
