I thought the Coatl was the Aztec feather winged snake? Even the name is taken from the Quetzalcoatl <--- See! :)
They're so... pretty, I guess. I like the depth of the lore you added, and the way their "orbs" take the color of their birth flight is an interesting concept that I also think would look good added into the PC design (because don't they make the pearls from eating their eggshells?) ANYWAYS, I like the way they look: not to dragon-like, but you can still tell that they could be dragons. I think that maybe a scaled underbelly, like the one seen on Imperials, might make them look a bit more dragon-ish.
Still, they look really good as is. Apparel might be a little bit difficult with the "mane," like scarves and cowls. But yeah, I like it. The mane adds a bit of identity to the dragon, and I think it'd be fun if we could get a skin/accent for them with the manes having patterns/ties in them, as a little bit of fun!

I would seriously love to see a dragon like this! But what would a baby Sphiasa look like? They do look more Sphinx than dragon, but that's fine. And it's still very cool. It's obvious that you put a lot of love and thought into it.

Honestly, this is my favorite breed suggestion I've ever seen-- not only is the art itself lovely, but I adore the idea and features of them, along with their lore! It's unique, it's a gorgeous design, and I honestly would really love a bunch of them in my lair <3

These are gorgeous! If these become a legit breed I will scoop some up in a heartbeat!
It's such a creative idea too! I've never seen anything like this among the suggestions.
I think they'd be great arcane dragons (Not because I'm partial to arcane). While contemplative dragons would typically fit flight, I think it also fits arcane because they're the most curious of dragons, and these guys definitely have a good deal of magic, considering they have a floating sphere as a main sensory organ.
I hope there'll be baby art of it up soon! IT'd be interesting to see how those horns grow!
Though, I am a bit concerned that they don't make me entirely think dragon, if that makes sense. I love them, they're beautiful designs, but, as much as I want to see dragon, I see lion/sphinx?

They look amazing XD I only wish the females didnt have the mane? I'm sure im not the only one to say that
it would be super cool to have males and females who look distinctly different from one another, other than just being posed differently. Noc females are a little smaller and longer, but this would take it to the next level for sure
