Leigh is a unique fae. Though she got her fae looks from her father, her mother was a nocturne. This granted her the ability to convey emotions through her tone and facial expression. While she still uses her fins, her voice is expressive and kind. She's quick to provide encouragement or lend an ear for clanmates in need.
On top of her unusual expressions, Leigh was also raised quite differently. During a time where Beasts and dragons viewed one another as sworn enemies, Leigh was adopted by a harpy. Her familiar, Saria, found Leigh as a baby; alone in the remains of a dragon lair which was destroyed by a natural disaster. After seeing Leigh playfully mimicking her moves, Saria decided to raise the hatchling. Leigh founded The Kinship on positive relationships between dragons and beastclans. The ever-growing library is filled with stories written in a variety of languages and perspectives. The hoard spills over with treasures of beast and dragon alike.
Coming of Age
Leigh preaches ideals of equity for all and elemental balance. She encourages every one of her clan to understand their family history and elemental heritage. A Coming of Age Ritual is given when dragons reach maturity. When dragons are old enough to travel on their own, they are asked to make a pilgrimage to the Pillar of the World so that they understand that all elements have and still can live united. After the journey to the Dragon Home, dragons are encouraged to travel to their elemental birthplace and spend at least a week there so that they may learn about their individual heritage. Arcane members of the clan are encouraged to go beyond their arcane home and chose a different element to study. Finally, each dragon must spend a no less than a month with one of the Kinship's Beastclan allies, to further their ability to see other perspectives.
