The doctor looks to his side as he listens to foot steps approaching, his hands clenching from the mans neck, dropping him. the unconscious man lands with a thud the moment his foot shifts, and he turns to face Chernokir, his smirk still plastered to his face. "what.? you wanna dance too, little boy?" he chuckles

Cherno held eye contact for a whole span of perhaps ten seconds before looking our 'doctor' up and down. It was then that, with a disinterested murmur of something in his mother tongue, Chernokir looked elsewhere. Just off into the distance perhaps, or maybe just at the adjacent wall. No action from his end. None. Sadly for our instigator, this 'little boy' was not much of a dancer.

Zebrins eyes stayed glued to Cherno, his weight shifting as he turns the rest of the way around. when he looks away, he snorts in reply to it, his teeth showing in his grin. "hm? not gonna reply?" he laughs "guess ya need some dancing lessons!" he reaches into his coat, pulling out a shank he had gotten from Raban. he only got it because well, the smaller boy was smart. he knew better then to not give him what he wanted, and would rather stay on his good side, then the side that the knifes pointing too. who knows, it may just save his as s

Not to say this was the first time Chernokir had perhaps had a knife drawn on him. Or in this case, some sort of shiv. A shank, so they called it. Which in the simplest terminology meant Zebrin had half the dull thought to try and stab Cherno. Which was something that was being fairly avoided at the fact Chernokir had turned his attention back to Zebrin and started to speak. His words were slow and uttered in what could be counted as a surprisingly deep tone; the accent Cherno carried was heavy enough to make it mildly hard to understand some things he said.
"Do you know where the bathrooms are?" Lifting his eyebrows slightly with the inquiry, Cherno adjusted his scarf under his chin now. His lips were chapped from the cold. A rather dull response to having a makeshift knife pulled on him.

Zebrin stops, putting his knife down and just giving a look of pure confusion. who does this guy think he is? holy fu ck.
he just shakes his head, turning and going to walk off with a grumble, the crowd splitting like the red sea.
In replacement of the killer, the small boy Raban takes his place, walking over with a cocked eyebrow, and his hands in his pockets, chuckling. "vow. i didnt epext that" he smiles up to him, his own accent just tipping his words

((sorry if I forgot anyone's name!))

Sage stared around the room, cold eyes unblinking. It was a scene of chaos, with all the new arrivals coming in(herself included), and the cafeteria(if you could call it that) with so many menacing people about. She huddled towards the outside of the group, trying to blend in. Her short sleeves weren't of much use now in the frigid air of the north. But she would adapt quickly. She always did.

The guards let her go "explore" her new environment, and Sage saw a tiny flash of light as she was walking around. Someone had drawn a knife on another inmate, but was now walking away. Sage tilted her head and sighed.
"I guess this will take some time getting used to everyone," she thought as she looked around at her foreboding future. She walked in the shadows drawing near a boy not much older than she was, with pale skin and dark hair. He was talking to a man with a scarf, and she was just genuinely curious to hear what was going on. She wandered over to them slowly, her brown hair swaying. Sage stopped about seven feet away, trying to listen in on the conversation.

Chernokir noticed Sage nearly automatically but didn't act on her eavesdropping. He and this boy weren't particularly talking about anything interesting. Instead Cherno merely tossed his head back, shaking his hair back out of his face, and ran a hand down his chest as if brushing something off.
"Did not expect what?" Didn't expect the quiet guy to completely blow off the guy with a knife? Didn't expect someone in this garbage heap to actually try to help someone other than themselves? Didn't expect to see such a pretty person slammed up in the iron cage? All of the above?
In the meantime Calligenia was being tossed into the fray at last, and quite literally at that. Leaving her shackles on her, the guards lifted her up still squirming and crying and hurled her out to the stone floor of the cafeteria. She landed with a hard thud and a yelp before falling mostly silent. There was some sniveling and sniffing, but for most of it Calligenia had fallen quiet.
Blush winced slightly at this treatment but was forced farther onward. He had a cell to be shown to.

gee i hope this is still going on

Lee noticed the voice directed at her. "Cheer up, Missy." She snorted. Condescending language was not a foreign thing for her, as a woman previously having status. Men liked to make fun, and she just ignored it. She was being directed to the cell of the same man.

Her hat began to slip as they undid her chains, but she caught it and readjusted, pulling the huge band down to hide her sunken in eyes, seemingly permanently stained black with coal and sick. Her gloves were huge and hot, keeping the cold from penetrating some of her skin. She would be surprised if they let her keep her clothing, though she hoped they would. The prison would not gain anything by providing new clothing for each prisoner. They had all been sent here to rot, after all. They weren't a danger. They couldn't escape.

She refused to cross her arms, to shiver noticeably.

They shut the cell door behind her, and she rested her hands against the bars, like a prisoner from those drawings, comical kind, before looking back to survey her cellmates. "Is this the part where we all cuddle up by the fire and say 'so, what'reya infer'?" she prodded. Her tone did not betray humor or sarcasm. It was more bittersweet, perhaps fatalistic. She had no desire to fight them, but she did not come off as incredibly friendly either. She was too guarded, hidden behin her coat and hat and veil and boots like an invisible spirit who could only be seen with some extra garments to prove that she was, in fact, a sentient being with bodily form.

@Baroness

A guard came to the cafeteria and called out Sage's name. She stood up from her hiding spot and obediently went up to him and held up her hands for him to shackle. Sage looked around at the cells on either side of her. The people on the other sides didn't look to friendly....

They arrived at the cell that she had been assigned to, which was already occupied. The guard took the shackles off and pushed her inside. She turned around briefly to stick her tongue out at the guard and then turned back to face her cellmates. One was a very sick looking woman, and judging from her attire, a pirate or sailor of some sorts. Sage sized her up and decided that unless the woman had some sort of secret weapon, she wouldn't be very hard to take down. The woman even smelled of death. She noticed another man, but she couldn't see much of him, on account that he was in the shadows. Sage looked around the cell, where there were three cots with one thin blanket each, and a dirty, unused toilet in one corner.

She smiled dryly and and said: "So, what are you in here for?"
