Hey there, welcome!

The biggest tip I have for now is to have a look around and explore all the aspects of this site. There are a lot of things to do here so there's no harm in having a gander at things before finding what you really enjoy the most.

Your flight forums will also be an interesting place to look through as that's where you can potentially find forum posts on flight-specific newbie guides/programs and other flight related programs. Of particular note is the flight discord, where people within the flight interact off-site. These are more active than the flight forums themselves from what I know, and there's bound to be people there who are willing to help with learning the ropes on aspects of the site as well.

Hi there, I’m BunnySox, I'm in Wind Flight, and a very breezy, warm welcome to the forums & FR!!

There’s a lot of fun and interesting things to do here, lots of choices and activities -- you can

• buy, sell, breed, and dress-up dragons;
• create original dragon lineages and subspecies;
• enjoy amassing collectibles of all kinds;
• battle opponents in the Coliseum for training or profit

There's also a thriving arts community, dragon hatcheries, thrilling raffles, monthly festivals, role-play, storytelling…

And an amazing FR community of players!!

After you've played a bit, you'll start to discover what you love the most!!

If at first you feel a bit shy about asking for free things...no worries. FR's community is very generous and helpful to everyone, and especially new players.

We want you to stay!!! :D

Here’s a few quick tips you might find useful…

• you’ll find that you won’t need tons of money (aka ‘treasure’) right away -- there are free dragons (and free stuff) everywhere...check out the Raffles & Giveaways forums…I'll link you some personal faves below...
• give each dragon a Familiar & bond with Familiars daily, for a bit of treasure and some treasure chest rewards as they level up
• keep your dragons well-fed -- over 80% at all times -- to get your daily well-fed bonuses
• Which Waystone (Library menu, left) recommends daily activities and tasks for you, helping you remember to “do your dailies,” and explore the vast world of Sornieth
• under Library / Forums, 1st column, halfway down, are your 3 private Shadow Flight-only forums. Be sure to introduce yourself to your fellow "Inkdrops" and see what goodies, assistance, and activities your home Flight offers their new players
  -- if you Discord, this is where you request access to your Flight’s private Discord server
• your starter or progenitor dragons arrive with all Basic genes (no patterns). If you’d like to change their look, you can experiment with every gene in Library / Scrying Workshop, or you could add Apparel or user-made skins / accents from the Auction House
• Guide to FR Abbreviations will help you understand “forum-speak”
• to reply to someone on a Forum thread, just type @username and they'll get a notification
• the geniuses at Tiny Little Questions in the Help forums save me all the time -- bookmark them, I'm serious!! xD
• in the upper right corner next to your u/n, down arrow, you'll find your Account Settings -- this is where you set up a Forum Signature, Avatar, & Vista…and also where you can Log Out
