I know that there's different types of dragons, but how in the world do I identify the different types? I've been so lost. Like for instance, as an example, what is she? @Gavynthetoad both of them are XYZ.

The terms refer to their colors, for example:

Red/red/yellow is XXY
Red/yellow/red is XYX
Yellow/red/red is XYY
Red/yellow/blue is XYZ

@Shinyumbreon ok, I almost understand it! One question tho, is it a specific color or would something like Splash/Sky/Eldritch be an XXY? Like does the shade have to be specific?

@Gavynthetoad yes, they need to be the exact same color to qualify as XXY/etc.

@noivernjungle I looked myself, and while they're definitely sold for the regular amount, I think u might get a sale off of selling it for a little bit more :)

@noivernjungle depends on how popular the color is and how much it’s been bred over the site’s history. For example, XXX obsidian is popular, but since so many people bred it you can commonly find them for fairly cheap. XXX violet is not bred often, but unpopular due to the jarring accent color it has.

Generally speaking, XXX doesn’t add a ton of value unless it’s on a G1. If you’re looking to sell, check the AH to see what triples of the color are currently worth.
