Last I checked, the limit for dragon bios was 50,000 characters. Today I thought a bio might be getting very long; I put it into a character counter, and it's more than 60,000 characters. Does anyone know what the new limit is?

@taniquetil According to some tests a user did in this post the limit is somewhere around 60k and can vary slightly.
If you're over 60k characters you're very close to the limit and risk having things cut off.

I have written few bios exceeding the character limit both before and after the profile revamp. Before revamp if the bio was too long it was cut off with no warnings while after the revamp you get a pop up that tells you the bio is too long after which you can keep editing the bio. It doesn't let you save if it is too long.

@taniquetil - Do you back up your bios anywhere, like to GoogleDocs or an application on your computer (if you have a computer)? If you spill over the character limit but back up your bio somewhere, at least you'll have everything stored so you won't have to worry about losing what you've already written if you want to make tweaks later.
