Is there any item like vial of scattersight that could change the tertiary gene of an existing dragon? Or is it not worth it and I should just try to breed the 'undesirable' trait out.

@thepsychologist yes, you can change the genes of a dragon using gene scrolls found in a variety of places (swipp, Baldwin, marketplace, coli, and NotN chests)
You can use the scrying workshop to see which one you’d want, and use the game database to see where to get it. Whether or not it’s worth it is you to you.

I suspect you meant the tertiary color of a dragon, not the tertiary gene. If so, no, there is no way to scatter only one color on a dragon, and your suggestion of a breeding project to recreate the dragon with a more desirable tert color is a very good way to deal with it!

@shinyumbreon @flipthefrog thanks for the help! I actually did mean the gene and not the color, but that information is good to know!
