In Tomo's Trivia, there is a question of how many slots a dragon has for adding clothes and accessories. Since the update the answer has increased to, I believe 11? I think. But Tomo's answer is still at 6.

From the FR wiki. The starting is 6, the maximum if you buy it out completely is still 20 pieces.

that's because apparel slots are account wide, so buying them once will give you the slots on every dragon that's ever in your lair
