Longtail doesn't count.

Look, he's determined
"This will not be the end of the Clans. As long as I have breath in my body, the Clans will be safe."

Heres some random thing

also, jayfeather made half moon stoneteller, annoyed some ancients, broke a stick, and a lot more stuff.
"From this moment on, you will be known as the Teller of the Pointed Stones. Others will come after you, moon upon moon upon moon. Choose them well, train them well, and trust the future of your Tribe to them." Sign of the Moon, page 268
HE ALSO WON THE PLUSHIE CONTEST

But... he's still a butt. I swear, every time he appears in the books, I wanna to punch him in the face, because, boy, don't be angery!

you didn't say anything about breezepelt. direct your hate to him. Only breezepelt.
Please don't hate Jay
Breezepelt: Hates everyone, wants to kill everyone, trained in dark forest

But Breezepelt wasn't mentioned here, and he isn't a fan favourite, so I wouldn't bother with him. He's in the shadows anyway.
I don't want to say anything to spoil the books for you, because you are a bit behind and I have always hated spoilers, but most of what you said about him is not true anymore.
But Jay is still angery

Just because he's blind doesn't mean he can't do anything..
And in terms of saying he doesn't do anything, he's very capable and good at his job. He's just unnecessarily rude and harsh, not counting when other cats act condescending towards him or doubt his abilities based on his blindness (I'd be rude too in that case). Sometimes I like him, but most of the time personally I just find him annoying to read about.
On the other hand:
People are allowed to have an opinion different from yours, Chill. You're coming off as immature.
Breezepelt doesn't want to kill everyone, and it is made clear that he at least loves his mother and cares very deeply for Heathertail. He was hurt and let that hurt allow him to be manipulated by the Dark Forest. Crowfeather's Trial focuses on how hard he's trying to redeem himself for his actions the entire book, and how against him and the other DF trainees every cat is. He nearly gets himself killed trying to save his clan.
Both characters have their flaws. Breezepelt is one of my favourite cats but I still acknowledge that he's done some horrible things. Jayfeather is an easily annoyed and harsh cat, but he makes up for it in other ways.
I'm more than willing to discuss this, let's just be cautious that it doesn't turn into an argument! ^^''

Blue better
Okay, Jay isn't the worst, I mean, he's kinda great as a protagonist and has some interesting chapters...
Rootspring, on the other paw!
They just introduced him and I already want him gone, though, now that I think about it, I don't really like a single LS protagonist. They. Are. All. So. Bland!
