Yes, there were costumes. Most of them are adorable crafted stuff like a cardboard duck, and even Nintendo Labo Piano. I think they serve as an extra hit (like Mario's mushroom powerup) and for aesthetic. Looks fun to me.

However, Mario Maker 2 was the highlight for me. I wanted to see more Luigi's Mansion news, but at least we got Mario Maker 2 confirmed and with that Luigi render I'm wondering if it will have multiplayer... That would be really cool.

@HydreigonOxide maybe not multiplayer but i think theres different playable characters. on a banner youy can see cat luigi, cat toadette and also blue toad. seems like itll have the playable roster from nsmbudx though we havent seen yellow toad or nabbit yet
