Oh my, what character deaths DIDNT kill me?
Some MAJOR spoilers for The Librarians season 4. Do NOT read this if you haven't seen it.
Okay, idk if it counts since they brought him back, but JENKINS' DEATH WAS JUST AWFUL. I swear on anything I did nothing but sit in my room and cry for five hours until I had exhausted myself enough I fell asleep, and I couldn't watch a single episode until the next one came out.
But SERIOUSLY. They could not have made his death any more emotional. It was SO FREAKING SUDDEN TOO. Like, one minute they had saved the day and everything was right in the world, and then suddenly NOPE, dagger flies in out of nowhere and stabs favourite character. And then the moment where it seemed like he was healing but oooorg. Just... Most emotional scene ever.

Lars in Brutal Legend. Sure, he wasn't around for all that long and didn't have too much of a spotlight.. but man his dialogue was just the freaking greatest thing ever. RIP heavy metal cinnamon roll.

Ahh, there are too many to mention. One of the ones that came to mind for me is definitely Mathias from Six of Crows he had just grown so much over the two books and he finally had a new goal in his life and to be cut off so brutally from that and the effect it had on Nina was heartbreaking
A lot of the deaths in Critical Role were really sad as well but luckily most of them weren't permanent. Johann's death from in The Adventure Zone had to be one of the saddest moments from that series as well.

That Game of Thrones one was super sad, but I think the violence of it probably overcomes the sad for a lot of people.
I do remember being a lot sadder about it in the book, though. .__.

Oh god, Lust’s death from FMA.... not only was it so flipping brutal, but it also made me cry after she was replaced and poor Gluttony was left to wonder where his literal mother figure went.... first time I had heard him crying out for her so sadly, I had to stop watching.
