Actually, most of the constrictors that are kept as pets(boas and the like) aren't dangerous to humans. Contrary to popular belief, they can't eat their owners, or anything bigger than a rat(or a rabbit or chicken for the biggest). They aren't even that difficult to keep, unlike cobras. They don't grow any longer than 10 ft., and that's pretty rare. They are docile and curious, not man-eating killers trying to find ways to strangle you. So no, not just really experienced or "stupid" people own them. These aren't anacondas we're talking about.
Sorry if I come off as rude or snippy. I've just seen so much fear and hate directed towards these beautiful creatures due to people's ignorance, so much that organizations are trying to get them banned as pets, so if I can educate someone about them, I will.
However, on to more funny/cute pics!

Yesterday at work there was a teenie tiny garter snake in the office!
I decided to put him in a box and release him but oh my gosh, that little thing was 1% noodle, 99% PURE ANGER.
He hissed and rattled his little tail and striked at me! I know he was trying to be threatening but oh my gosh, it really was adorable!
