Ah, okay:-) And I agree that banning snakes because they might hurt you is pretty dumb. Like, your dog might hurt you! Or your horse could trample you easily! But we aren't banning dogs and horses are we?
I'm thinking about getting a snake soon. Either a hognose or a Kenyan Sand Boa. Both are small and cute, and the sand boas are good beginner snakes:-)
However, onto more funny snake pics!

Have you researched all you can about the snakes you wish to get? (such as how fast they grow and so on? (so you don't have a too small tank problem?

Still researching, but tank size wont be an issue. Hognoses don't get bigger than three feet, and Sand Boas only get to two feet, unless you have an unusually large female that gets to three feet.

That's good to hear (I think I need to read up again on how much corn snakes and garter snakes grow :) Otherwise I'll have an unhappy surprise of a snake with stunted growth :/
