BUNNIES FOR EASTER, BUY CHOCOLATE NOT REAL ONES!

Okay, so you see a cute little bunny in the shop around Easter, so you decide to buy it. What you may not know is bunnies are a LOT of work when cared for properly, when you decide to get one DO YOUR RESEARCH. They live up to 15 years and are not little cage animals. They're like dogs or cats, they need to be spayed/neutered, check-ups, exercise, love, and proper nutrition. Around Easter hundreds of bunnies are bought by naïve parents or partners looking for a cute little present and not looking to commit to this poor bunny. Most of these rabbits are returned, abandoned, or put in shelters before two weeks after Easter. If you know what it takes to care for a pair of bunnies (they need a rabbit companion), and have done your research please rescue one from a local shelter. If you do NOT know everything needed to know about caretaking of rabbits BUY A RABBIT SHAPED CANDY.

I have had a total of four rabbits. Sadly, three of them has left this world. Now I have one. [img]http://i3.aijaa.com/b/00270/14132204.jpg[/img] ^ She was my first one and also my first pet ever. Her name was Nöpö and she died at the age of seven. [img]http://img-front.petsie.org/pet/picture/022245997_b.jpg[/img] ^ This was my second and Nöpö's best friend. His name was Töminä and he died at the age of six. [img]http://img-front.petsie.org/pet/picture/020279021_b.jpg[/img] [img]http://img-front.petsie.org/pet/picture/020279031_b.jpg[/img] ^ My third pet rabbit, Mineko. Unfortunately, she died few months ago because of a tumor at the age of six. I miss her very much. [img]http://img-front.petsie.org/pet/picture/020733464_b.jpg[/img] ^ And here is Bairbeka, a rabbit I have now. He is going to be seven years old in the summer. Old man!

I used to have a couple of babbits :33
There names were Flopsey and Mopsey; Flopsey was a black and white lop breed of some sort and Mopsey had erect ears and a brown coat :33
Sadly, we had to rehome them because we couldn't care for them properly :T (They had kinda been dumped on us so we weren't prepared)
But I'm considering getting a new rabbit at some point, so if any one has any advice, I'd love to hear it!

Also, Y'all's rabbits are ADORABLE! *Squee* I could cuddle with them all day =^w^=
