I decided to make a little guide with the knowledge I have. Since coming back from a hiatus, I had a little bit of trouble getting used to the new Trading Post merchant, and wanted to help out others who might be in my shoes! I have known Arlo for less than a month at the time of writing this, so if I get anything wrong or am missing information, let me know [emoji=heart size=1][/center][/columns] ----- The data collected comes from me and a few of my trusted friends. While I belive 99% of the community are all kind, I've seen some lie about their findings and don't want to risk that happening here. Hope you understand! [emoji=undertide tongue size=1] [size=5][b]Mustering Resources (aka daily resources)[/b][/size] You get a randomized amount of resources per day, the numbers below show the recorded ranges of how much you can get daily. They seem to not be affected by archaeology level. There is no limit on how many you can hoard. [quote][emoji=pick axe size=1] Pickaxe: 3 - 9 [emoji=magnifying glass size=1] Magnifying Glass: 3 - 9 [emoji=scroll 2 size=1] Research Notes: 2-5 [emoji=star size=1] Archaeology Experience: always 15XP[/quote] [s]I've seen people report they got 9 picks or glasses on very rare occasions, I havent got that personally yet so take it with a grain of salt![/s] i got 9 myself so i can confirm it now :) -26th Jan '23 ----- [size=5][b]Archaeology Experience (XP)[/b][/size] You can get XP from a few tasks, such as using your pickaxes / magnifying glass and sharing research notes, and it is rewarded to you the moment you use them. XP gained seems to be the same in every digsite. You get an equal amount of XP whether you select a friend or share randomly. You do not get XP for discovering (unearthing) items. ----- [size=5][b]Working / Clearing Tiles[/b][/size] [quote]Pickaxe works 5 random tiles throughout the dig site and takes 15 minutes to finish Magnifying Glass reveals 1 random tile on a chosen plot and takes 10 minutes to finish Receiving Research Notes works random tiles, and is instantly claimable[/quote] It is not possible to do more excavation work if you haven't cleaned up your work tiles or have a reward pending for unearthing a whole image. You also cannot be working on more than one digsite at a time. However, you do not have to clear up finished tiles before starting work on another digsite. (For example if you finished work on Thunder Lizards and have tiles ready to clean up, you do not need to clean them up in order to start working on Ancient Aerie. But if the work isn't finished, you cannot start more work on another digsite) After you fully excavate a plot, you will be given the reward and the tiles will return, allowing you to dig there again for the same reward. The plot you discovered will have a cosmetic award ribbon telling you how many times you've unearthed that specific plot. [img]https://i.gyazo.com/5a4b2a5d9b41b8640448c72518eb4840.png[/img] The item icon next to the text is clickable, meaning you can easily preview the discovered item whenever you'd like. ----- [size=5][b]Info about Research Notes[/b][/size] You can send up to 3 research notes at a time to a friend. Those appear as worked (finished) tiles on the digsite: [img]https://i.gyazo.com/525af6957fd00ea4d1a1e72e16ddebf8.png[/img] Sending research notes is completely anonymous. The limit of notes per person is 9, meaning you need to clean up the tiles before being able to receive any more. Once they are cleared, you're able to receive more instantly. You're better off 'trading' research notes with a friend than donating resources to the guild, as it gives you comparingly less. Just got back from hiatus myself and this was helpful to figure out the new thing

updated with the newest frozen age, i retrieved the digsite images but if someone has a link to a forum post with the actual items please let me know! [emoji=undertide love size=2]
