Hi! Asking mostly for curiosity, is this a setting you've enabled or something Twitch is enforcing for your channel? I haven't been able to follow because I don't want to give Twitch my phone number. If it's something you've made the decision to do or can't change that's perfectly fine and understandable, I was just wondering because it's not something I've ever seen before.

If it's something you've made the decision to do or can't change that's perfectly fine and understandable, I was just wondering because it's not something I've ever seen before.

@Tserin, yes, this is a security setting in the Twitch moderation options. We can review some of the restrictions over time; for now, it works to ensure anyone chatting is a person and to prevent block/ban evasion.
edit: wait, I see now it's preventing follows too. I'll give the settings a closer look.

That's interesting because I can actually chat with no problem, it's just following that it blocks me from doing!
