As long as like 75% of my dragons have a character in my head I'm pretty happy with my lair no matter the size, but I'd never hesitate to scale down if I ever got bored of a big chunk of my lair. 1) people have favorite colors??? uhhh. i don't have specifics but here's three color palettes i like:
- blue/green/brown together, esp in lighter tones
- blue/purple/yellow in a warm tint
- black with a really Bright color

2) skipping bc it's too many and sometimes idr the poses (esp on the ancients)... but generally there tends to be a pose with some dynamic motion and a pose that's just a dragon standing there? i like the standing there ones for moderns (since i love apparel) but prefer the dynamic ones for ancients. less dead space that way. i don't really pay attention to hatchlings much

3) used to change it regularly! but since the monitored one came out i think i'm sticking to jianyu for a while. he's a dragon of an oc i have with a very similar aesthetic and television head, so it's kinda peak.

4) in my heart i am a lots of apparel person. in reality? i'm just too lazy to build outfits lately...

5) i like having a smallish lair, since i plan to eventually have a bio and multiple art pieces/adopts for every dragon in my lair!

6) gilded chests. that's kind of a copout. i just like playing the gambling game and i don't really care for eggs

8) yes, almost since i was on the site! i was just poking around the forums and saw the dominance forum so i started talking. i love how festive pushes are for the entire site and i love being a (small) part of it! right now i'm mostly a foddart monkey but i've been thinking abt getting back into attending now that i have some lairspace...

9) nope! i like arcane, i like that it's got enough going on in the forums that i can jump in if i want without having to join a whole discord in order to feel included. i've contemplated going to earth bc i do like earth tones for dragon eyes but i know they have a slow forum reputation. granted i don't dip into the flight forums very often these days but i miss it...

10) snappers. i have noticed they are not very popular and they have largish eyes. i want to see exactly how long it would take for anyone to notice and say something

18) the coffins in the recent set are an inspired decision. give us more unwieldy courier trunks. no i am not saying this because i saw the set and immediately thought of limbus company canto 6 boss and then got disappointed with the tentacles

19) i like how pharaoh and sarcophagus are just black with a minimum of the base color, really helps with visual cohesion on some color combos. so like, that? idk how to realize this vision though

20) lamp. in my mind gem genes as they're implemented are considered designer, with ultimately artificial origins (as opposed to treasure marketplace which are generally more like normal morphs with nonmagical origins, don't ask me about limited genes). so they can get away with flashy things like that which would be a death sentence in the process of natural evolution. the designer of star/con would 100% have wanted built-in lights and maximum shiny

21) last time i went to a picnic i brought croquettes which i admittedly flopped at. but i have experience now. i really want a redo

I don't wanna answer all of these so I'm just gonna say that Gaoler hatchling is the best pose in the game.

I keep it to one derg, I love him tho <33 he's a dragonification of one of my most beloved ocs, he's kind of a stern military king but super sweet dad

Tons of apparel. I love it when you can barely even make out the dragon. All of my ancients have to have skins, I won't suffer them naked. I've not found skins for all of them yet though :(

Honestly I don't even know. My ultimate lair goal is to make lore for every perma (never gonna happen)

Nope. I've considered it a couple of times but always chickened out. I don't know why, Wind is super friendly.

Nooo I never have and never will! Wind is the BEST! Kitsunes, windy noodles, and corgis, what more could you want?? I don't think I'll ever even take a vacation

Wrought iron lantern buddy. It would look like an old-fashioned gothic wrought iron lantern with little orange flame eyes. It would be a chest drop and it would be abundant, everyone would have too many of them, it would be obnoxious and I would love it.

I do it casually but don't pay too much attention to it.

Lamp for sure, do those glow in the dark stars shimmer? No. They are lifeless, dead, signs of a failed sky. Lamps are 100% better

All my dragons live on an island (The Honeykissed Isle) off the mainland where they're tended to by the bee god, Drithea, and the death god, Aegaeon. They live in a variety of regions with land-wills and personalities. My main tab is a inn with a bunch of reborn spirit amnesiacs from other worlds, where my icon (Laohart) tends to the residents and generally acts as the inn's proud papa. He's also the adopted dad of my progen, Frynsthallow! (also a moon fell somewhere on the Isle oops)

30) And finally our standard finisher, share three positive things! They can be anything from you got a promotion to you saw a cool stick on the ground. If you want to share more positive things go right on ahead, spread some joy!

I started my first semester of community college this autumn and I haven't gotten a grade below an A so that's been great for my self esteem and confidence. I also found an inspiring essay topic (uncanny valley) for my English class, which I was stressing about. Finally, the weather's finally cooled down enough where I live that I can wear big fluffy pajama pants, which is great.

On FR I collect all of the isopod seafood items (must live up to my 3 isopods in a trenchcoat persona), the warriors way mantises, and the three gear trinkets!
Irl I collect Oogie Boogie merch because comfort character go brrr. I jokingly call it my husband collection. It has grown to the point I need to re-organize all of it. I also like collecting bottles and jars of varying shapes and sizes. I just think they're neat :)

Gold by far is my favorite. As for the other two... Not sure honestly. Algae comes to mind, I love how pretty it is. Umber would probably be my third choice, but I like most of the colors excluding 90% of the yellows and the mold color.
I had breakfast at 1pm and it was mac n cheese drowned in Sriracha. My lunch/dinner thusfar has been a large frozen coffee (I am going to eat real food I promise)

As for what I'm looking forward to... I've got a few bigger volunteer events that I'm excited to help with. There's a digital marketing workshop being hosted at one of the camps that I got asked to help out with, gonna get to help out with a holiday lights walk event, and a ton of normal troop stuff. I'm also kinda sitting on a job offer at the moment and I just need to (finally) get my license so looking forward to that!
