Yeyeee I was thinking about potential genes while I was doodling it, and hanging vines would be excellent.
I think a 'Dappled' gene would be cool too! It could have like dappled light looking stuff, or like faun-like patterns. Could in that sense be Faun/Dappled as the gene pair (maybe Dappled/Canopy?)
I also had the passing thought if like wreaths of leaves down the dragon's body. It'd probably look like Christmas wreaths and I think that'd be really funny, but also it would be a fun gene in general haha.
Cobra would be a fun gene! Add a nice cobra hood.
Augh sorry I have a lot of Thoughts for all this

This is kinda what I've been imagining, something fairly similar to an Irish elk (as well as to the Gladekeeper) - but I think I'd be happy with whatever we get!

Regardless of which design, I imagine their lore is something very much to do with that of the nature lore story, that one of them poisoned their ambassador. It's why I gave them stingers, and somewhat imposing features - because, like, they wanna do battle with the germs.
Also, the plague ambassador might have something to do with their existence? I mean, Yugona's a bogsneak, an artificial breed. That could have factored into what might've been a plot. I dunno this isn't the place for that discussion.
