i checked the latest post on the front page and i noticed theres a gene released on brightshine jubilee. does that mean their making a gene for every element? also i dont know if its just me but i havent really seen much talk about the brightshine genes

Yup yup instead of small apparel, this set of festivals is going to have ancient genes instead. They'll be returning for future festivals like the scenes do.
People were talking about them when they were released but the festival is over now and things move on quickly :D

Because it actually doesn't look that great. The concept is not bad, but I think it isn't what people wanted from it.
I got a couple copies in my vault, but I don't think it will be a sleeper hit. Plus, it returns next year.

Most of the reactions were in this thread so there wasn't a lot of individual threads.
I like the gene but prefer it in either light yellow or bright red-range colors. There's some use with bright green and bright blue/cyan, but red is my favorite.
There's also not a lot of talk about them too because they're currently restricted to only 2 ancients since the fest genes aren't going to release for all 6 (and eventually more) at once.

hopefully the other fest genes will looks less tacky. Tbh it would've been great if it didn't have the giant cartoony flare, cuz the headfins are cute

I'm a tad disappointed because when line-breaking terts were first announced, I was hoping for expansive body mod genes like sailfin, shardflank, space, etc. Instead, what we got was deluxe sparkle. I do like the gene (I think the huge lens flares look good) but I hope the other elemental genes aren't just 10 more versions of deluxe sparkle.
