It definitely looks more like a proper wheelchair like what would be used for mobility, now. When FR players who have wheelchairs see this, I think they'll be super happy about it, since it feels like a more accurate representation.
Not a wheelchair user myself, but I notice when I see someone who has one, they tend to have those extra rims and such.

NatureQueen I got it from the announcement, but when you go to Susie's exchange store, you can extract it with a right click as well!
I got the older image from the web archive, got lucky it was archived haha

The comparison is very useful because I couldn't tell the difference with the armrests specifically. I saw everything else though like the handrails and the footrest change.

Wow, I'm really dense, I didn't even recognize it was a wheelchair in the first place. I thought it was some fancy rustic chair with the lattice and wagon wheels. It would have helped if I actually read the image caption in the original post rofl. But it certainly does scream wheelchair more now with the edit, very nice.
