I'm biased towards Fae cause I just really love their designs. But honestly, they probably aren't the best starters logistically, cause they have a very limited diet which can be rough for newbies, and they also start out with magic abilities in the coli which is... suboptimal, since you wanna go physical so you can build elim. No regrets on picking fae though, still love my progen and she's still a fae 9 years later!

mirrors. i goddamn love mirrors. i want to fill my lair with them. i'm going to have an entire tab dedicated simply to mirrors. they make up 25.7142857143% of my lair and i am still not satisfied. i need more goddamn mirrors

Depends on what one wants. As others have said, Guardians eat anything, making them easy on someone just staring. However, I do have to say the lore in Mirrors is very exciting. Also, Mirrors look cool and are fun to dress.

I mean basing this on if someone was just starting out, I would say guardians since they eat everything and start out with the scratch ability, which makes starting the coliseum easier imo. (mirrors do too, but they're a bit pickier diet wise) Aesthetically? Sorry not sorry I gotta say fae. They're still one of my favorites and my custom progen was one [emoji=familiar heart size=1][emoji=fae size=1]

Guardians to me! Their simple design stood out the most when I first started!

F guardian was a no-brainer to me for my custom progen, and she's still a guardian to this day. The lore is cool, the pose is super regal, and being able to eat anything is absolutely a huge plus when you're starting. M tundras are also great though, my random was a tundra and he too has remained a tundra. they're like big fluffy dog dragons to me and i love that. such a polite smile.

Female Fae. Loving their big wings - and when I joined, I didn't know they were so small, so that's okay, too! xD
