TOPIC | capitalized vs uncapitalize dragon names
so i may or may not be contemplating changing all my dragon names to lowercase (aesthetic purposes..)

which means i'd have to buy a TONNN of renaming scrolls.

so now i'm indecisive on what to do cause i'm broke LOL. which do you use in your lair, and why?

i personally think both are great but idk. like capitalizing names gives more of a ~formal~ type of vibe and it's grammatically correct. but i feel like uncapitalizing them looks prettier ? help

reject both do all caps for all dragon names

I also had to rename all my dragons when I decided to do all-caps and I don't regret it! I like how punchy it makes my tabs look.

I prefer properly written names and name my dragons that way.

For me, I like capitalization! Everyone in my lair usually follows a (prefix)(suffix) style some are not currently and I'm planning on renaming all but one
Aberrations though get specials love. They still follow the same plan, and each head gets a prefix-suffix name, and I usually combine them with some capitalization like AshenedNight

We definitely prefer capitalisation. It looks much nicer and neater to us :D

can not accept uncapped names, it feels wrong to me so if I do it by accident or buy a dragon I will buy a scroll right away to fix it ..

I have to have proper capitalization, I just think it looks wrong otherwise. If you're looking to rename, though, at least scrolls for that are pretty cheap :)

For my permas, I prefer capitalized letters. However, for my breeding pairs, I give both dragons of a pair the same name, and then I capitalize one and uncapitalize one so I don't get confused X)

I just can't do uncapitalized names. It looks bad imo, especially when I write the lore because the name could get lost. Or if the dragon's name is Shards and for whatever reason I used the word shards in lore it would get confusing if I mean the word or the dragon's name. The name also just tends to get lost in the text.

Or if a dragon has a 2-part name like WillowTree. If it's all uncaps it looks like 1 word when it's meant to be 2. As someone who used to read warriors, if I came across a dragon named willowtree I wouldn't know if it's Willowtree (like Warriors uses) or meant as Willow Tree. Not a big deal since it isn't my dragon but I just personally wouldn't want to confuse others potentially by naming my own dragons this way.

It's just easier/neater for me to use proper capitalization, plus I'm not big on creating an aesthetic look, which is the biggest thing here since the above could be fixed by simply making it caps in lore or something.

But I'm sure other people do this so if you want to and think it's worth the scrolls I say go for it.
