TOPIC | How would you feel if...
Someone asked you to unexalt a dragon you'd just exalted? If they offered to pay the treasure cost?

I had been eyeing a dragon for its ID number, and didn't want to inquire about it because it wasn't listed as fodder or for sale and I didn't want to be rude. But now it's exalted, and it feels EVEN MORE RUDE to ask such a thing, but it's also time sensitive, so I'm quite at a loss.

REGARDLESS of whether or not I actually do such a thing, it made me wonder: how would you feel if someone asked you? Would you feel it was intrusive? Would you not care at all?

@BBean

I'd personally be okay with it (I don't mind messages as long as users are polite & well intentioned ^^). However, since there's a cooldown, I'd likely not agree to it unless it was a good offer, since I'd prefer to save the chance for if I accidentally exalt something I shouldn't have.

Personally, I wouldn't care at all. If the person is paying for it and given unexalting doesn't take much effort on my part, it wouldn't be a big deal to me to do it for them. In fact, I'd be happy someone's enjoying the dragon instead of the dragon sitting around in the ether forever. The only dragon I've unexalted is my random progen, so I don't unexalt often, nor would a cooldown be an issue to me.

they'd have to compensate me more than just the treasure fee of the exalt return, because then I've used up my dragon restoration for the 90-day period, and will have no insurance for if I accidentally exalt one of my own permas.

regardless, I wouldn't mind them asking so long as they back off if I say no.

Yeah, I'd prob want some decent compensation for using my 90 day dragon restore and having that dragon removed from Dom if I was dom exalting.

I never use the dragon restoration for myself (I put a familiar on anything I’m keeping to make sure I don’t accidentally exalt it) so I’d be fine doing it for someone as long as they cover the cost and were polite about it.

If it was exalted during a dom battle/conquest push that I’m still in the middle of, though, I’d ask them to supply a dragon of the same level to replace it.

I wouldn't mind but personally if asking someone to use their 90-day dragon restore would offer a bonus payment/compensation.

yea pay me fair market value for the dragon plus the fees associated and I'll do it

Basically what others are saying.

Offer to pay the fee to bring it back + a fair price that isn't fodder floor. The user might take it for fodder price or in exchange for a replacement fodder dragon but personally I'd be more inclined to use up my restore for a higher offer.
Remember, it's a 90-day cooldown so the user might want to save it for if they accidentally exalt something they didn't mean to. Idk how often it happens but that's the safety net. If they say no, even if they don't give a reason, be polite and don't push it.
