The encyclopedia claims that there is a chance of an aberration growing as large as a ridgeback, so far all I’ve found are dragons with around 4-8m of length/wingspan. Checking is very tedious so I’d love some assistance on this task, I’ve been going through some of the adults that have been breed changed in search of one like this. Though the encyclopedia does say that it only happens in large groups, there’s no telling yet if this is something that actually has a chance of happening with or without those circumstances.
Ugh, over 300 dragons checked and not a single “gargantuan-sized major” definitely seems like fiction. Too bad, but at least I can comfortably use them for lore without worry about trying to obtain an actual one for myself.
I only started recording numbers 200 dragons in but the smallest number I recorded was a length of 3.8m and the largest was a wingspan of 8.35. Though I do believe I’ve seen numbers differing from this.
The most disproportionately disrupted dragon I found was a dude that was 3.97m long and had a wingspan of 8.5m. Each wing slightly bigger that his whole body.

I don't think there'll be ones in the actual game with huge sizes, though I could be wrong.
I feel like it's one of those things, similar to how bogsneaks can have all number of different frills in lore, but in the game we only have the m and f pose variants. If you do come across a monster though, please ping me to let me know, I'd love to be wrong on this :D

I wondered about that too when seeing the encyclopedia page. I'm not sure how it'd work given all three stats are randomly generated separately so they wouldn't correlate, meaning even if they did program big ones into the range their dimensions would always be disproportionate. So it might just be a cool lore headcanon thing, like the potential of having different numbers of heads/limbs/tails.

Maybe if you breedchange a ridgeback into one?

would be neat if there was a minor random chance of one being born with a different size range pool. would probably be more trouble than it's worth to do that though.

is very likely to take your posts literally - has difficulty discerning if tone is joking
I’m still uncertain myself, that’s why I’m looking around for one. It definitely would be cool, I’m mostly hoping they mentioned it for a reason and it isn’t one of those canon but not really things when it comes to fr lore. I mostly just want people to keep an eye out for one, at least just until we have some conformation.

I think this is going to be an example of gameplay/story segregation, where something being able to happen in lore doesn't mean it can happen in the game. *shrug*

Honestly I feel like this would be the perfect dragon species for that actually. These guys mutated in the soup for who-knows-how-long, who's to say they wouldn't be horridly disproportionate sometimes? [emoji=spiral winking size=1] (/lh)
I do hope it's possible to wind up with Huge Aber honestly. Even if it means having a giant Aber with tiny wings, or a tiny Aber with giant wings. Okay, especially if it means having Giant Aber Tiny Wings, Tiny Aber Giant Wings. I want that so badly.

There are plenty that are actually very disproportionate already, I’ve been finding some smaller than what I thought the minimum was previously as well as some larger. Some are down in the high threes and they can go a decent bit above eight but never seem to reach nine. That’s a pretty large gap for the ones blessed in one department but troubled in the other. It’s definitely a very funny thing to come across.
