I was thinking about reporting this yesterday, but I figured I'd wait and see if it would resolve itself.
When you go to the database, the caterpillars and hourglasses were the only NotN items still showing as required by Swipp for a strange chest trade, the other ones all turned off as they should have. You're probably right that this could be the issue.
As there was a strange chest trade with those particular items right as NotN was supposed to end, I figured that was why, and also figured it would resolve. Guess it did.. by breaking *laugh*

Swipp has returned to normal, so yeah, it was probably because of the chest trade, I think caterpillars ended up left in because the day NotN ended at 6:00, Swipp's 6:00 trades had the caterpillar trade
