TOPIC | why are the crown values so low?
they're older festival apparel, why is basically everything below 40G?
you can get them from spare inventory crates for one, and also they don't seem to be very popular. that's my guess at least. same reason bluffclamber belongings are so cheap despite the fact you cant get those from joxar

Even before joxbox I'm pretty sure they were cheap. I know pretty much everyone considered them very ugly and difficult to use lol

I'm guessing it's because they're the Smaller Apparel item, so they didn't cost as much currency at the time, and they're not very big and unique (they're all pretty similar to each other), and imo, they just don't look great and have a copy-paste feel to them; they tend to look pasted on with some poses.

As I recall, they started out deeply unpopular and believed 'ugly' from the moment they landed, and have never improved in the eyes of the playerbase. People were more interested in tiara-like crowns and crowns without the big floofy velvet bit.
They aren't that old as far as apparel goes. Also, no offense to the team, but as far as designs go this was probably one of the worst Festival designs. in terms of apparel They are very bulky, very hard to coordinate, and barely match with anything else on the site.
To add to this, they were very cheap and easy to get during the festivals at only 40FC
