I've started to exalt a lot this month (about 50-100+ dragons per day @___@) and level them to lvl6. Maybe lvl5 is even better (as far as I remember it gives the best payout/speed ratio) but I'm not used to it yet.
I used to level to lvl7 and I'm still planning to do this while preparing to push and storing pre-levelled dragons in den. Otherwise I'm going to stick with 6 for now.

If I grab them at level 1, I'll go to 8. If they come with a few levels already I'll go to 9.

7, usually! if i'm just Not Feeling It then i usually just level to 5

7-10 depending on how much of a roll I'm on.

Most of the time I level to 7. I used to level my breeding fodder to 10 since they'd be in my lair for a set amount of time regardless but I've been lazy lately and just sticking to 7.

Based on some research, I am doing 6 for the profit! Though 6-8 is a good range, it just may change if the fodder prices are a little higher than the limit for level 6.

Depends on the situation. I'll usually level to 10 if I'm storing fodder in advance, though real life has taken its toll on me lately and thus I'm only leveling to 8. I train to Level 7 when actually exalting for profit, and Level 5 during conquest pushes.

7 if I'm storing, 6-7 if I'm training (depends on my motivation that day)
