It definitely has to have the right gene and color combos to match with. It's a little tricky, but can really make a design (especially for Earth, Ice, and Arcane dragons). Some of the colors look pretty neat, too (C O P P E R).

gembond is only good on female bogsneaks.

They were released after the gene was, and many of the new colors are bugged with certain genes (like Iri/Shim) But I'll admit that it's a little outdated. I'd love if gembond was re-tooled and updated to fall more in-line with Opal, [i][b]but have this re-tooled version released as a new gene[/b][/i] instead of changing the old one. That way the change is optional!

Eh, I personally don't see the appeal
With skins and apparel it works better cause... well you see less of it xD But other than that... nah.
