My opinion is that every gene is situational. Gembond can either be very, very bad or very, very good, depending on what else is happening with the dragon. Everyone who's shown off their Gembond dergs in this thread, you have great dragons [emoji=ridgeback happy size=1]

Oh I love gembond 100%!! Sure it can be out of place sometimes BUT it can also be really neat! To showcase my gembond babies-

I've inflicted gembond on so many of my dragons. I'm shamelessly fond of it on SDs and tree dragons.

I like gembond BECAUSE it's not visually attractive. It's messy, ugly, and plain. Amd that works amazingly well for Plague dragons really embracing that survival at all costs thing. While I do prefer crackle since it has more uses, Gembond will always have a spot on my list of good Plague genes.

It looks really good on Skydancers, Coatl and Male Imperials.
One of my first bought and still absolute favourite dragon still sports it to this day ^^
