What happens to a Pearlcatcher's pearl if they change breeds?

Why does the Serthis potion master want to teach Shadow magic so badly if he is of the light element in the coli, or can Beast clans wield multiple elements?

A question about Pearlcatchers; How do they feel about other dragons that Breed Change into PCs?? Those dragons technically wouldn't have their pearl would they? Would the breed changed dragons in question be outcasts as well?

Why can't we buy expansions with gems? Do the deities just not accept the gems or was this something unthought of in the creation of players' dens?
