TOPIC | The Game of Fancy Doors (20g+ per Door)

No need for a shrinking potion! You do manage to wedge open the door. The sound is rather loud and now that poor door is a bit worse for wear, but oh well! There is a pretty tree in the room before you. If you can force that sturdy, old door open, you can drag this tree back to your lair!

That copy of [i]L'Étranger[/i] is a perfectly legible book! Maybe it would have been better if you'd selected the English version instead? A secret door does not open when you remove the book. Maybe all those TV shows weren't quite right after all? You have gained an audience though. A hatchling is watching you and he seems to know you can't read the book you selected. He looks like he's judging you for your decision, but you aren't sure why he thinks he can judge you when the little weirdo is hauling around a skin he can't even wear!

You stare at the door and the door stares back at you. It's silent, still waiting for an answer to its unasked question. Maybe you were supposed to have known a password or something? And then the door blinks. A series of bumps, like something falling, sound behind the door and the eyes disappear. The door swings open to reveal three familiars who had all been stacked on top of each other in order to peer through the door's peephole!

Door 1: This door is flashing with sparks and this distant noise of machines. What's behind this thing?? Oh.. the door's also made of metal. Whoever designed this- are you an idiot?
Door 2: This one is frozen shut. Might need a bit of firepower. If you listen hard enough, you can hear tapping from behind the door.
Door 3: It's like you shoved the entire coliseum behind a door. The clashing of distant battles blows in what sounds like wind when you put your ear against it.

@kitty1425 An imperial looks up at you, dread in it's eye's. Whatever it has done it seems to have regret deeply. In slides off it's nest- the eggs are broken and the remains are scattered. You poor thing..
