Upon being snapped at, Kaleidoscope burst into a fit of laughter, continuing to lap at her hand between outbursts. "A fair point indeed, my dearest leader. Though I never claimed to be better than anyone here... I simply stated facts." And it seemed that Jean was taking her "facts" to heart, quite impressively pulling herself together and putting on a brave face for her clan. The Coatl might had applauded her had she not been so taken aback by the accusation she made—why accuse Sunburst, of all dragons? The Pearlcatcher's decision influenced the clan quite a bit, too, the poor Wildclaw gaining more and more votes as each member cast their own.

"A strange choice, to go for the second-in-command," she commented, her tone amused and her grin still wide. "I sincerely doubt that a dragon like Sunburst could manage to get away with murder... no offense, Twitchy." Her gaze slowly turned towards the clan's current exile-ee, and she let out a chuckle. "I'm far more convinced that Essence is the culprit between the two of them." Though that's not saying much, considering that neither were all that suspicious to begin with. Not like there was time to sway the vote, and even then... there has to be confirmation before you go and do something so drastic...

Glacier blinked.

It was great to be alive again, but it was far too obvious they were all not in the clear; the killer was still on the loose; inside the clan.

He shook his head. Focus, focus.

He blinked once again. He had remembered nothing when he died nor when he was revived, but he racked up potential ideas of who did what.

He looked around the crowd surrounding the tundra; Jean and Silver was upset, and rightfully so, who had the right mind to murder off a hatchling? Glacier's eyes narrowed behind his pastel-colored mask, the two of them were quite a team when it came to pranking other dragons in the clan.

Those were fun times he had to admit, no matter how annoying it got and distracting him from his duties as the clan potionist, but things will be never as it used to be with a murderer running wild within, but even then...

The murderer couldn't be Jean nor Silver—he hopes—but there was a gut feeling Jean definitely didn't do it, with what her reaction of Delph's death was nothing but real, genuine sorrow of a mother that had lost her child.

What a sickening game this murderer had concocted for them.

His gaze fell onto two dragons that roused the most suspicion: Sunburst or Essence.

"I cast my vote on Sunburst." He said as he sat next to his sister Kaleidoscope. He looked at her as she casted her own vote in the ongoing discussion, "I don't think it's Jean." He responded to her.

"But it's a shame I have no leads who've killed me, but I ought to defend myself. I can't let myself die again."

He had decided to visit a Clan near the ocean, a Clan of Guardians so they could trade food and materials for Hibernal Dens. Reading the title to make sure he had the correct paper, he heard some rustling coming from the direction of Dawnbringer's den. Turning, he narrowed his eyes but saw nothing. That den had been deserted and empty since Dawnbringer left, and he was pretty sure no one would want to go there because of the clutter of Dawnbringer's items that she did not take along with her prior to leaving. Shaking his head, Shadowslash continued towards his own den, to store the papers and categorize them. Wanting to take a break, he walked out and headed out of camp and towards the cliff where the supposed Guardian Clan was. As he walked along the rocky path, some pebbles rolled across the ground. Startled, Shadowslash turned, but a giant net was thrown on top of him. Roaring and struggling, Shadowslash only managed to tangle himself even further. When his assailant appeared, grabbing the net, Shadowslash gasped, "You? Bu---" He never had a chance to finish the sentence, because his assailant hefted him up and threw him off the cliff. Jean stood by the cliff. There were even more shadows beneath her eyes than usual as she had not slept well the previous night - too many nightmares about trauma past and present. Her eyes did not glow as brightly as usual, and she shrank under her hooded cloak and away from the sun more noticeably than usual. There was an emotional hole in her heart, and she was more protective of Silver than ever. And she stared, blankly, at where the one who had given her most comfort yesterday had been thrown so brutally off the cliff.

She was really beginning to wonder if this was aimed to hurt her, but whether that was the case or not she was still the leader. She still had duties. She scanned her eyes across the gathered clan, everyone seemed uncertain, there were many whispers but no votes. The afternoon was getting on, the sun lowering in the sky, the vote needed to be had or there would be none. She would have to do her job and lead them.

She had considered the evidence, and it seemed to fall in line with two groups of dragons - the Necromancers and the Imperials. And there was one dragon who fit into both of these groups, Erdolliel.

Jean, having come to a conclusion, pulled herself into a more upright, leader-like pose. "Erdolliel, I have a few reasons to suspect you. Namely, I know I heard a strange voice when-" her voice hitched, and she rephrased "-the night of the previous kill, you are the one in this clan who could do such a thing. Also, few if any other than you or Krese could throw Shadowslash off that cliff."

Her vote made, she turned to look at Sunburst, she still suspected him a bit, wildclaws tended to be strong for their size, but the clan needed their leadership unified. "Sorry for voting against you yesterday, I was not thinking as clearly as I should have been. It was an unfair mistake."

Gone. Essence was gone. Erdolliel might have been sad, concerned even, but she wasn't. The two sisters had never really talked much. In fact, Erdolliel couldn't recall a single conversation. And while living in exile is dangerous for any dragon, the necromancer had her ways of making sure no ill fate befell her sister. Besides, the way her clanmates regarded her with distrust and avoided socializing with her despite her every attempt, it seemed she might just be joining Essence.

Sighing deeply, Erdolliel conjured up her Ragepuff once again. It shook furiously and began screeching at her. "How dare you reduce me to a pile of bones? My opinion is valuable!" It looked (if a skeleton with no eyes really can look) down the cliffside and focused on the vague, unnaturally positioned outline of a dragon below. "Hm, Shadowslash? Why would anyone bother killing him? Sure, he's smart and good with words and pays attention to detail... Oh. I see why. But still, Shadowslash? I don't know, I'm thinking Kaleidoscope, Dolly."

Erdolliel slapped the squeaky Ragepuff. "You're really not helping. They've suspected me since the beginning. I know their suspicions are misplaced, but that doesn't mean they do! I'm still very much in danger of being exiled here and you along with me."

Before her companion had the chance to begin cursing, she released her magic and his bones clattered to the ground.

Glacier did not even bother looking over the cliffside where the murder had occurred, he would rather not see the sight of a mangled body with twisted and broken bones.

He shuddered at the thought.

Kaleidoscope would never kill anyone, much lest himself of all dragons to be the first one to die when the murder spree began.

Erdolliel? Possibly, would she be even able to hold a bow and arrow when her professions directly lies at ancient elder magic? There's only a sliver of chance to kill someone without putting them in pain, and Glacier would not bank on that idea.

"I vote for Krese!" He hollered, aside from his stuffy attitude, he knew nothing of his profession other than flirting.

And why was most of the murderer's kill are all male? Aside from Delph but...
