Vista stirred a bit, shifting among her wires to turn to the fox. It had been a very long time since she had seen a new face.
A metallic voice spoke quietly:
"Outside world... I don't believe I have ever considered it."
Its gaze flickered among the constructs around them.
"It can be assumed that it is harsh and dangerous. Most constructs housed here are used for war. I must assume it is for our protection. I must assume that I am housed here for safety and therefore must remain."
Vista flashed a quick array of colors as if pondering something.
"The guardian known as Lomion is the only dragon I have met. He does not fit the schema of the dangerous world. He is kind. I am curious about the world he comes from."
Her colors dimmed again and her fans whirred in a sort of mechanical sigh.
"We all have a purpose in the Network and I assume my purpose is to remain here. You should be going soon, stranger, before your presence is detected by the other constructs."

I enjoy to dig and scavenge for shiny things and unwanted treasure. Later on, I add a bit of magic to them and re-sell the product to my felow dragons. Your presumption, however, gave me a good idea!
